'My Corduroyed Life' - Mark A's Journal

As you may or may not know, I was supposed to be going to a book signing by David Hasselhoff at 5 o'clock today. I was very much looking forward to it; as were a number of my friends. it turned out to be a disaster, and there was no Hoff signing, hugging, or photo taking.
The idea was for me to get there as early as possible and get a place in the queue, and for friends to join me when they could. I got there at 4.10, a full 50 mins before the Hoff was to be there, and was turned away as there we already too many people there. This wouldn't have been such a problem if my mobile was working, as I'd just have phoned everyone who I was supposed to be meeting. With the ridiculously large crowds, I only managed to find Geth out of everyone, and am feeling somewhat guilty that I couldn't find anyone else (not for want of trying, mind).
So, yeah, Geth and I decided to go to the Namco Station and spend the money that we would have spent of the Hoff's book on stupid, competitive boy games. We ended up accidentally getting many tickets. Hence, Geth with our winnings in the photo. So there you go - Geth and an elephant, not the Hoff...
