I think I'm living a nightmare...
Okay, I have a new job, and I'm having a bit of a fit about it. I think list therapy will help...
Good Things About New Job
1) Snazzy PC (I've called it Maud).
2) 8th Floor = pretty view.
3) Free tea and mineral water.
4) Free language classes.
Bad Things About New Job
1) Induction? What induction?
2) No more flexi time.
3) I'm the only male member of support staff, and the male lecturers are all peculiar.
4) I've been dropped in the deep end without any swimming lessons.
5) No one talks in the office except about work.
6) The role apears to be considerably less varied than my old one.
7) I dislike being in the closet again.
8) Pegasus email is fucking terrible.
9) All tasks so far have been badly explained and dull.
10) Beurocrisy, beurocrisy, beurocrisy...
11) I don't have access to the University systems that I need to do my job.
And so on...
I'm sure it'll get better, but right now, I'm feeling like I've made a big mistake...
