'My Corduroyed Life' - Mark A's Journal
I am SO vexed right now...
As you might be able to guess from the title and subsequent sub-heading, I've lost something on Petunia (remember, that's the name of my work PC) that I didn't save... and it's really annoyed me.
I spent a good 2 hours writing a report on feedback forms from our latest programme (http://www.salford.ac.uk/gradgate), and then my PC crashed. The whole thing lost completely: GUTTED. Did I save every 15 minutes? Did I buggery! Did I save every 30 minutes? Did I buggery! Did I save at all during the writing of the document? Did I buggery! Do I ever save documents like that? Do I buggery! Gah! I should know better with an elderly and temperamental PC like Petunia, but I never seem to learn.
I am now resolved to save stuff on a regular (15 minute) basis, with every document I write. I was already behind on my workload, and losing two hours worth of stuff just isn't funny. [snarl]

PS: To add insult to injury, we were discussing crud music in the office earlier, and check out the Current Music below to see what's been going through my head ALL DAY! [sigh]
PPS: Can anyone teach me how to do those clever underline link things using HTML instead of the clumsy bracketed links I currently use? An explanation by email (kingghidorah123@hotmail.com) would be great!
