wicked good times thursday night was amazing, joe told me about the sky, i go outside and snap some shots of a killer rainbow, come inside... next thing i know my aunt comes through the door and tells me she's taking me to cobbs corner cause "YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE THE SKY!!!" i grabbed my camera, we hollered to my uncle that we were leaving, and we're out the door. the best thing the world: we were driving down this one hill on my street and the end of the rainbow comes into my view. it was so radiant, so freaking beautiful. i swear to you i almost cried. we kept driving in hopes of getting a better view, but we were too late. so we took our sorrows and brought them to the walpole mall where my aunt bought me a nice little book entitled "Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book" (so darn cute), a cheap ($3.75) pair of shorts from Kohl's, and some yummy Big Dig ice cream from Brigham's. The night was concluded with a jam sesh on the car ride home, blasting the radio and belting out to Sk8r Boi, Superman, and I'll Be. Great songs... awesome aunt.
Friday evening Heather Kat and I met up with Jay at the train station and we drove to Bickford's in Brockton after spending quite sometime deciding what our destination would be. I'm not good with crazy drivers. Anywho, after BickyBoo's I came up with a great idea of going to Jordan's Furniture. Man, do they have great bathrooms- consisting of free tampons/pads and couches. It was a good time, only we got there just as it was closing, so we were stuck in the maze of rooms, resorting to a Russian janitor to help us dig our way out. I got off scott free that night.
Saturday was the best time ever. My aunt goes to college in Caimbridge, so she took me and Joeth with her and we went into Boston. We got there wicked early (8:30), before any of the stores were open. We roamed around the Christian Science Museum and this awesome pool. Then we went in the Prudential Center and went in Barnes and Noble (2nd time in one week!!!!). There's this awesome Boutique I found with crazy Halloween costumes and insane shoes, its on the same street as the Museum. We went in the Church part of the Christian Science Museum and it turned out to be the not-so-Joeth-and-Kimbert tour of the church, so we checked out next door. It was sooooo amazing, they had this fountain with words being projected from the ceiling that appeared as if they were floating, crazy religious quotes and GOD everywhere. Then we went inside a globe of the world that was 30 feet in diameter, and every time you did so much as salivate, the microphones picked it up and you heard it played back through the surrounding speakers. We went to Newbury Street afterwards and I shopped like no tomorrow, not buying anything. OBVIOUSLY we went in Newbury Comics there and it was like FATE- 1) I FOUND THE AT YOUR FUNERAL SINGLE WITH UPS AND DOWNS ON IT!!! AND IT WAS ON SALE!!! 2) I spotted a HILARIOUS classified on the bulletein board that a band needed a guitarist and ripped off an email address for Joe. We then got caught in the rain, which had been only drip-dropping before, but was now pouring. We seemed to be the only ones on the entire street (thats a hella big street) without umbrellas. We warmed up with some AWESOME tea and finally found Mars Records (awesome cheap independent record store). Then we went back to the Prudential and went to the top of the Tower, oh man, it was sooooo beautiful. I don't think I've been that high up in a building in my life. It was just perfect. SO eventually we brought ourselves to leaving Copley and taking the subway to Harvard Square where I instinctively found VEGGIE PLANET and daringly got a crazy Udon Noodles dish. It was delish. Joe's a wuss cause all he got was cheese on bread. My aunt picked us up in the pit, where some crazy war-protesters provided us with entertainment. We ate Bertucci's rolls on the ride home, wrote back to the classified, and watched Empire Records at my house.
Today I went to Headaboo's and Kat, Jess, Jumpin, and Kim were there. I gave Heather her presents and we were supposed to bake a cake, but her oven was broken. So, when we walked Kim back home, me and Jumpin decided it was a good idea to run down the hill and grab the pre-made cake mix to bring to Kim's. Then I got picked up to babysit- YAY MONEY!!!
