I woke up at 7PM from an unscheduled nap. I don't know what happened. One minute I'm watching a special on bull-riders and the next thing I know I'm knocked out on the couch. It's not that it wasn't a good show, but the couch is evil and will put me to sleep everytime. I've learned that I watch most sports for the injuries, though. I watched that special to see the extent of some of the crashes (what the accidents are called). I also watched it for the mention of Lane Frost, who the movie 8 Seconds was based on. He's still a legend in the sport. Which reminds me, I need to watch that movie.
Over on the starsky_hutch community, we're having a lovely discussion about the Playboy Island episode. Flat out, I hate the episode. For the stereotypes, for the bad plots, for the extent they went to in making me cringe everytime I see it. I even purposely didn't put it into my zine aside from a mention by Hutch that he was still ticked that Starsky tried to kill him. I hate it with a passion. Almost as much as I hate Marianne (almost).
I did re-watch FBI Murders again this morning. David still likes guns and he's still tough. 8 bullets before he was brought down, made all the more staggering considering it was based on the true events. Truely wonderful movie.
