Subject:	Well, It Can't Get Worse....Can It?

Yesterday afternoon and evening had some high spots, but silly me all I remember are the two bad spots:( I came home at 5PM to find that Boo (my fish) had finally passed on. I loved him and even though some of my friends don't understand that ("he's just a fish, it's not a real pet") he was with me for a long time. He was with me the whole time

abelladonna lived with me and he was with me as I transitioned from living in an apartment to living in my first house. He entertained me and listened to me, buried himself under the rocks and was just as psychotic as I sometimes am:) I loved Boo. I miss him.

So, after I cleaned out his bowl and gave him a funeral, I set to work on getting ready for my Real World/Road Rules Viewing Party. I had SH on in the background to keep me downstairs, else I'd go upstairs and play on the computer and not get anything done. I listened/half-watched Psychic, Tap Dancing, and Iron Mike before everyone arrived. My coworkers all said how lovely my home was. I was much appreciative. Some even read excerpts from my last slash zine;) I live to serve. And I must mention the fact that I've had my SH Video Game for one year and I haven't managed to get through the levels without cheating. My coworker, who has never seen the game in her life, got through the first level on her second try. Boooooo:) Was nice to see what Level Two looked like, though.

The culmination of the night and the reason for the party was Shawn's appearance on the show. He's also a coworker and was on the Road Rules Semester At Sea. What I didn't know, however, was that this was his last appearance. He got voted off:( We knew it wasn't good when they started showing him WAY too much during the episode. Bad sign. The nice one always goes home. Well, at least we got to all see him go together.
