I signed up for TicketMaster notifications when I ordered my Ron White tickets. Today, I got notification that Ron's tickets would go on sale tomorrow. Umm, what? No, they went on sale last month. When I went to the page, I discovered the reason for the email. He SOLD OUT the first show (the one I'm going to) and has a 10:30PM second show that night. That's just perfect.

Checking on my Slash Because... CafePress store today I realized that I have commission and I'd be happy to spend it on someone else's store, but I can't find anybody's. There's slash stores out there because

abelladonna bought a cool license plate frame from one, I went through an Angel and Buffy one not long ago, and I recall people posting a reminder of their own. So, now that I'm at a loss of remembering, anyone wanna pimp theirs? I want a Slash store. Shirts, license plates, bags...anything that deals with slash (not a specific fandom).

While doing my SHarecon preparations today (yes, I start this early;) I had to make a list of my zines. I've been in fandom for six years and this is the first time I've had to make a list of what zines I own because I can't remember anymore. If I see a story mentioned, I'll know if I have it in a zine, but I can't remember titles anymore. Ah well, listing them is a good thing. I'm re-reading two novels because I keep forgetting their plots. Sometimes a bad memory is a good thing.

Hurricane's coming from both directions (Ivan and...Jeanne?) There's been so many storms I've lost count now. There's no Summer fading into Fall, there's Summer fading into Hurricane. Central NC has been spared alot of the usual problems, but the whole Eastern US has been painted with a big bullseye it seems like. I'm ready for Winter at this point, but I say that and then we'll probably have a blizzard or something.
