I find it mildly amusing that, while surfing Google for Trauma Care today, I came across an A-Team story and the Cascade General (Sentinel) website. Fandom, it has far reaches;)
David Soul's appearance on Public Opinion (which aired yesterday on BBC 1) was uploaded by a fan today. boingobaby was giving me quotes from it as she watched it last night, but I have got to say...seeing it is a whole lotta fun. First of all, the whole show is hilarious. Secondly, every word I kept saying "yeah, that's him." Thirdly, I just find it funny that everyone else was denying the bad connotations and David's embracing them;) And what fun to have him just being honest. Yeah, he's said some bad things in his life, but when it comes down to it...he's usually no filter, totally honest. "I don't really care what you do with your lives, as long as I've got mine." David R. Soul....what else can you say?
I got so engrossed in an older SH story yesterday and this morning that I didn't want to put it down. That hasn't happened often lately (maybe four times in the past four months). The main reason I have these feelings about this particular story isn't so much how it's presented as the intention and realization of what the author is trying to convey. I can see the intent and it's really good intent. I'm going downstairs to start reading Part Three right now (it's a 5 part story).
