I was overly excited to try the new Pitch Black Moutain Dew. I thought "Mountain Dew and Grape Soda, two things I love." What I failed to realize was that Mountain Dew and Grape Soda, while magical seperately, will create the most horrid taste when combined. It's a taste that many have tried to explain, but it's hard to pin down.  abelladonna says it most resembles a Jolly Rancher. Me, I can't quite describe it. There's Mountain Dew underneath the whole thing, that's for sure. But the additions, that's a hard thing to contemplate. It's like kool-aid cut with unidentifiable white substances, then burned to give it that nice after swallow after taste. I feel like it's wasteful to not drink all of it, but after nursing it all day I've only drank half a bottle. I left it at work in hopes that by Monday it will have imploded onto itself and magically disappeared.
