I'm not supposed to be here. I'm supposed to be downstairs watching my David Soul videos. I'm supposed to be taking a shower and calling my parents. I'm supposed to be somewhere other than in front of the computer, but I'm here. Why? Because I found a new SH page. New fics (well, new to me) and they're slash. So, I'm here.
I'm planning on watching Holby City tonight, though, even if I'm up past midnight. That was two of the tapes I got on the mail yesterday. My haul included: Holby City 2001 (with David Soul: My Favorite Eyes and the Ed Stewart Radio interview), Holby City 2002 (with David Soul: Open House, Stupid Punts, and Lunctime Live), Key to Rebecca, Tides of War, Through Naked Eyes, and In the Cold of the Night...which I watched last night. David Soul looks nice. He was the highlight of the movie. He did not, however, save that movie from being better than it was because it was just the strangest movie I think I've ever seen him in. I'm quite sure I'm not keeping that one for long.
I also got the t-shirt transfers meandthee printed off from my files for me. The mailman tried to destroy them by putting them on my front porch and then putting my WET bag of mulch on top of them so they wouldn't blow away. Which I can theoretically understand considering we had tornadoes around here today, so the wind was blowing.
And I just want to state that Hutch, no matter what he tries to say, does NOT own an island in Florida. It might've been named after his family, but he doesn't own it. He might use it as a reason to get Starsky to travel to Florida (and go on the nude beach), but I am not allowing him to pop up twenty years into their relationship with the announcement "I own an island." I will allow him to trace his roots and take me on a ride through history. I love history, that's what I majored in, so if he wants me to dive into it, I'll oblige. It's interesting to know little things about the Hutchinsons, though. Like, Hutch was right, his family did settle Hutchinson, MN:) And it's cool that he's related to a woman who's got family ties to FDR. That's a plus. I just wish he wouldn't create these long plots when I was trying to take a writing breather and, you know, read a little. No, he has other thoughts. Sometimes I really don't like his "suprises."
