Today is better. Today I'm back to what passes for normal...well, as close to normal as I get:) What makes me happy? 1. All of you who let me know that I'm loved, accepted, and fine just the way I am. 2. Watching Star Trek IV and knowing that Spock and Kirk and McCoy will always be wonderful together and can survive even death. That's a strong friendship:) 3. The perfect Spike characterization summary vid. It's Schism by Vyrna and it's very good at showing Spike's complicated character, the bad and the good. 4. Reading an astoundingly good Due South story that I somehow missed. Northern Light by Shadow is a blind Ray K story and I really thought I had read every disability story in the fandom. It was a good suprise. 5. Watching the SH movie Mockumentary. Yes, I bought it. I did so for Paul and David, not the movie. I have not re-watched the movie yet. I skipped right to the director's commentary about the cameo and then watched the mockumentary. Hearing David Soul ranting was worth it:) David: "I'm angry!" Paul: "He's angry." 6. Having wonderful friends such as Rachelle, who made me a wonderful SH Collage. These are my boys, my older SH boys. 7. Watching Star Trek V and knowing that Spock and Kirk and McCoy have the strongest bond of any Star Trek characters. And you gotta love a man who says "I liked him better before he died." McCoy, my boy:) 8. Living vicariously through 9. Tagging all my XML today with starsky instead of start. Hey, they're spelled almost the same. 10. Getting DVDs on the mail...SH-related DVDs. Well, I already mentioned the SH Movie. I also got Cutting Edge for Paul's directing (Toe Pick!) and Car Wash for Antonio the Pimp. Seriously, I have to find a movie where he's not Huggy. And no, Fire Starter doesn't count and neither does the Backstreet Boys video, because he coulda been driving cab on his off hours at the bar. Oh, and Jen sent me Magnum Force on DVD. Now I can jump to David's scenes (mmm, leather) and zoom...alot. It's a good day, a wonderful day. I'm happy again and ready to resume spreading the love. |
