I left yesterday (Saturday) at 4:30PM to go to the pig pickin. I got back home at 11:30AM today (Sunday). That's a party, lemme tell you:) I got there around 5PM and I was the only one from work for a while (waiting, eating, mingling, waiting). Then the work crew started showing up around 6PM. And guess what? Elizabeth came! She drove 4 hours back up to NC to spend the weekend and come along:) That was the best part.
We hung around outside, eating and the others drank beer (I don't like beer, so I drank Fresca or Dr. Pepper or something, don't remember). It started raining around 8PM, so we went inside and retreated to the Game Room away from the rest of the party (didn't know anyone else anyway, so the 5-6 people from work all were up in the room). We're laughing, talking, carrying on. About 10:30PM we hear silence. No music, no talking, nothing. Guess that means the party's over. Elizabeth was going back to her brother's house and I went, too (he was at the party, too, because his girlfriend works with us, too:) I was pretty much convinced I was gonna die going through all those backwoods to get there, but finally I arrived. 11:30PM we started relaxing and wandering. There were drinks, I don't know what kind. They were clear...mostly. I refused to drink the Das Komet (or as we've been taught Duuuuuur). Drinking, a late night snack of macaroni and cheese and cookies to chase the liquor with;) Some Dance Dance Revolution, endless attempts to download Elizabeth's Ambulance Song from MTV, and by 3AM it was down to me and Elizabeth. The Malcom in the Middle DVD was put on because she was gonna watch and that lasted all of two seconds. She was asleep before the opening credits ended. I retreated to bed and everytime I woke up I heard the opening credits on endless loop. I emerged and went back to where Elizabeth was around...I dunno, 9AM? There was no clock. A few eps of Malcom later, we went downstairs. I seriously thought the clock was wrong. 10AM? No way! Oh, but it was fun. Got home, took a shower, and checked my email. Took a nap, worked on my vid, about ready for another nap:)
