Subject:Things Just Got Interesting
Time:7:35 pm.
Mood: hyper.
Music:Gay Bar.
I'm going along, having a pretty normal day at work. We had a lunch meeting, so the morning was mostly spent getting supplies for that. I had yummy tuna:) And then, after lunch, I was expecting a pretty normal Thursday. Maybe do some coding, run some edits, the usual. And then my supervisor/boss comes in to install an OCR program on my computer since the scanner doesn't have it on there.

Things you don't expect your boss to ask: "So you have one of those blog/Livejournal thingies?"

Danger! Danger! Mental images rushing towards me. I've never said anything against my work, quite the contrary. I love my job and I love that everyone is aware of the levels of weirdness that I bring to the job;) But I do have depths and layers that I talk about on here that I don't think everyone is conscious of at work. If they ask, I tell them, but they know not to ask about certain things. For about an hour after he told me that my other boss possibly reads the LJs of employees/former employees, I was like "OMG, I've gotta friendslock everything!" But when I think about it now it's not so bad. MP already knew I wrote fanfic and slash, she just has never heard me describe it in detail. They all know I'm a little weird, but they also say that I make life more interesting. If she's been reading it, so why should I change now? It's me, out in the open.

And I thought the highlight of my day was gonna be the two loaves of bakery bread I snagged for 83 cents.
