That Ron "Tater Salad" White is my favorite comedian ever and I just had the pleasure of watching him on Blue Collar TV. I missed it Thursday, so I had to make sure to watch the repeat tonight. That man always has a drink in one hand, a cigarette in the other, and a witty line on the tip of his tongue. I think I've seen every Comedy Central special he's done at least three times. So very funny. And speaking of funny and Ron White, I was going through my Amazon wishlist the other day and putting some of his comedy CDs on the list. At the bottom of the pages there's listings of "People Who Bought This Item Also Bought..." and there's another one that was "One User Recommended _____ Instead of This Item." You know what the alternative rec was? A Clay Aiken CD? Let's see...I could buy Ron White, a pretty man that makes me laugh, or Clay Aiken, a pretty boy that isn't supposed to make me laugh, but he does. Yeah, perfect sense. And my mortgage company is trying to give me a heart attack on purpose. They send me a letter today saying my house insurance was cancelled by my company on 8/04 and that if I don't reinstate it in 28 days they'll force me to pay five times the amount for their insurance. I don't think so. I'm calling them tomorrow morning as soon as they open and see what they're doing. My house insurance is lumped in with my mortgage, so if it was cancelled it's because the freaking company didn't pay, not me. Sigh, the joys of home ownership. But on the happy side, I was asked to write up a Starksy/Hutch partnership/pairing manifesto for  ship_manifestothat knowledge by having you compile a small essay that might help introduce your pairing to fandom at large." My summary fell under the guidelines of word count, but I covered everything. See? I'm invaluable:) |
