This morning, as I'm waiting for my parents to arrive, I discover that it's free movie weekend on Dish Network. So, I settle in and re-watch Mommie Dearest. Now, I've seen this movie many many times before, but I like to re-watch it. What I failed to realize before was that Diana Scarwid plays the adult Christina Crawford on the movie. For those who aren't aware, she is the same actress that played Lisa Graham on Starsky and Hutch (their young friend that was raped on Nightmare). It's really a bad thing when your mind starts cycling through in the connection: "No more wire hangers!" "Doodletown" "Wire Hangers!" "Doodle Cars!" I'm not crazy, just a little unwell. Diana is one of those actresses that has been in alot of stuff you've seen before, but she never looks quite the same, so you're apt to miss her. And seriously, have you see her lately because if I didn't have her name to associate I seriously would not connect the current appearances with a little girl named Lisa Graham. |
