1. Scraping together enough change to get a McDonald's double cheeseburger because you're too lazy to walk down to the ATM:) It was a GOOD cheeseburger, too. Filled me up. 2. Being able to roll down the car window and sing to the radio at full blast. This was aided by the fact that it feels like Fall around here because of a Canadian air mass. Ahh, Canada, how I love you. Making our heat disappear and be replaced by crisp, cool air. 3. Reading slash in the yard. I came home from work today and took the picnic blanket out into the yard with my VenicePlace 3 zine and read for an hour. It was very cool and calm and I think I'll do it again tomorrow. 4. Talking to slash fans about upcoming cons and getting hyper yourself. No, the chocolate I had didn't hurt matters, but the con countdown is now down past the three month mark. I believe there is celebration to be had. 5. Hearing that your parents have decided that they can come for the weekend. Suprise visits make me happy:) I'm going to order Momma's computer when she gets here and I'm trying to convince myself that I don't really need a laptop myself...but I'm losing the self-discussion, especially since they're on sale and have tons of free extras. And I DO need the ability to carry around my writing. |
