Today was mostly filled with frustration in that I had my first run-in with a bounced check. Oh, not my own! I deposited a couple of checks from the things I sold a few weeks ago. Today, one of my buyers emailed to let me know that the check will/has bounced. She's sending a money order to pay for the bounced check and the bank fee I got charged (after I requested it) and was very apologetic, but it's still frustrating. Not only is it a hassle to have to redeposit the money, but the fact I was charged for a check bouncing that was not my own. It just doesn't make sense to me. I'm charged because someone else's check bounces? What's the point in that? And I'm convinced that the British dialect puts me to sleep for some reason. Last night, I fell asleep in the middle of watching My Family and tonight I fell asleep in the middle of Monty Python. Thankfully, I've made it through Graham Norton, though;) Mmmm, Graham. My parents are coming up tomorrow for the long Fourth of July holiday weekend. I want to rest, possibly buy some shower curtains, and a mattress so I can move into the master bedroom rather than sleeping in the guest room;) But mostly, I just want to rest. |
