many good things today, except that i left my treasured cd player on the train to berlin...and if you know me, you know how much my music means, so it was a bummer.
but, i got to the hostel in the Mitte area of berlin, which is known for its galleries and museums...
immediately met an american, and then went to ate an american diner...
saw the berliner dom, and came back to find a nice english bloke in the bed next door...
we talked a bit, went out for indian curry down the street, and then went on to walk through berlin...
we stopped on the steps below the tv tower, right at sunset, a little drizzle, and church towers popping up through the skyline...
then we skipped across the fountain that was off, and walked back to the hostel...
and now, 'tis time to get off since my time is up.
