Shaman King dub premiere today...
on the ManKin dub:
I hate you, Morty, I hate you and your 'English class'
Yoh's voice is surprisingly decent, in my opinion.
the intro: they kept some of the stuff from the Japanese! (the pictures, that is) ...of course, the song sucks. It was almost bearable until they started going "SHaaaaaman Kiiiing!" (Hao and SoF are in the intro though, and I think that makes everything OK, except not.)
commercials...

Blah blah blah, ... uh, Manta's encyclopedia is now a book of ghost stories. ... Uhm. Ooookay.
Morty's friends seem... eh, OK. Whatever.
The voices in Rio's gang are SCARY SHIT. Someone, kill them now. Rio's accent is one of the weirdest things...
commercials. the eye-catch scares me, it's the same "SHaaaaman Kiiiing" from the intro. (Only once, tho)... and a cube (?) that says Shaman King on it. .. OK! Can you tell I don't watch FOX much? This scares me.
Still hate Rio's voice. Plz die kthx.
Still fine with Yoh's voice.
Still want Morty to just go and die or something. Honestly.
Amidamaru seems OK.
What does Yoh say instead of 'Hyoi Gattai!'(sp?) I can't tell.... Hmmm. Oh well.
There was another commercial break or something but Mum dragged me away to scream at me and stuff. Fun. That also made me miss part of the show, not that it seems to matter much.
Overall? Eh, it's not THE most painful thing in the world. There's changes (Morty and his book of ghost stories, WTF.) and Rio's voice is scary but... eh. It's not Cardcaptors, as far as I can tell so far, and that makes me happyhappy.
...yeah.
