I wish I was allowed to soundly beat some of the people I work with and for. I am fed up with saying the same thing over and over and over and over again until my voice cracks and my will to live leaks out of me. Some of these people were born without the wit to take a note or retain the most basic information, and yet they end up in senior or responsible roles. Fucking liberty.
I'd conduct the beatings with a really rusty tyre iron and once done, the lesson *would* be learned.
OK, violence is not cool, (unless you are a Spartan clad in leather speedos and fighting off hordes of Persians) but I reserve the right to unleash it on the stupid fucktards that earn more than me and have the nerve to carry on like they are better than me. Do I sound angry? I would say I that am rather piqued today with occasional flashes of severe irritation, but I suppose it could come across as a murderous rage barely in check. I blame lack of sleep and a stressful couple of weeks. I also have a sprained ankle so I've allowed myself even more licence to bitch and moan, until somebody takes a rusty tyre iron to my head.

I had a shitty day. So shitty that I can't be bothered to go into it, but take my word for it - shitty. I have a nasty head cold as well. So. To combat the unspeakably awful day and pain in my head and body, I had a nice dinner, a glass of red wine and decided to look up my old boyfriends/conquests/shags on MySpace.
Aiiiiish.
Yes, I am a bit strange, yes I found some of them and Oh. My. God!
Where I could remember names (Shuddup! Don't judge me!) I hit gold/fools gold. Where the names were a bit... fuzzy (With time! With time! I'm not 21 any more OK?) I hit a few possibles. Lack of profile pictures makes identification slightly more problematic but other parameters seemed to fit. In some cases, it was painful to look y'know? Like a really nasty car crash that you know you shouldn't look at because it's so horrible, but you can't help yourself. In other cases I wanted to wave at the screen and say, "Hullo! Remember me? Huh. Ummm. Ooooops. Bye!"
A little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing eh?
So, if you ever stumble in here and were an old boyfriend/conquest/shag - Hi! How are you? Hope all is well? If I dumped you - so sorry! If you dumped me - you swine! If we parted amicably - it was a pleasure knowing you.

I still don't have a camera but Amazon have agreed to refund me so all is not utterly poo. I intended to do a bit of trawling around and hunt down another likely looking piece of kit, but I had a leaving party thingy last night with work and am far too hungover to care.
My last day at work is next Friday but I twinned up with a colleague who is leaving today. We felt we stood a better chance of a good-sized turnout if we combined forces.
(And my ego could not handle having all of two people come along to wish me goodbye.)
I'm having another session in the pub next Friday though. Like the Queen has two birthdays, I have two leaving/bon voyage parties.

Fucking crappity fuck fuck.
I bought a camera from Amazon last week. It arrived on Monday and I tried using it yesterday. To no avail. Bloody thing is faulty and they have discontinued the model. One week after I bought it! I mean, I don't want it anymore because it's pants and refused to work when I want it to work, but seriously, WTF? I had better get my refund quick-smart. Let us not even discuss the XD picture card I opened up to test the camera with and now am £35 out of pocket because it's been used. Anyone out there want a 512MB Olympus XD card with it's original (cut open) packaging?
Did Amazon know something that I didn't know when they sent it to me? And the kicker? I did a bit of trawling around today on the interweb to see if anyone else experienced the some fault as my camera and a whole host of crappy stuff popped up about the Fuji Finepix. Splendid. Makes me wish I had done a leetle more research when I bought the bastard thing.
What do I do now? I have 13 days to find a new vaguely decent camera. I only wanted to spend about £150, but am at a loss where to begin. I would spend up to £200 but what to buy? I've been recommended the Sony Cybershot but am deeply resenting the thought of having to pay out £35-40 for another memory stick/flash card whatsit.
Why does this stuff always happen to me?

10:33 am - Work sponsored excursions to the pub - the woe

I am a damn foo'. I had no business getting drunk on free (very nice) wine last night, but I did it anyway. I said I was going to leave at 9.00pm at the very latest but they were the famous last words. Instead I staggered out towards the underground station with a colleague at 11.00pm and on the way home I did something so awful, I feel just plain dirty thinking about it.
I went to Burger King and bought a Whopper. With cheese! Which I proceeded to consume with relish. And I don't eat red meat!
Hai. Please feel free to judge me. I deserve it.

The Enterprise finale made me cry, and it wasn't in a good way. I yelled at the TV so much that my mum thought I was arguing with someone.
I would try to articulate why I hated it so much, but the pain is still too raw, too deep.

I feel sad and sick and angry. I'm so grateful that everyone I know is safe and sound but I can't even begin to imagine the suffering and fear of the people who were caught up in the blasts.
The Tube was eerily quiet today, both on the platforms and on the trains. Things won't be right for a very long time.
May the evil scum who did this be damned by whichever God they believe in and I hope they all burn in hell for eternity.

I had very minor surgery on Monday to remove a cyst (from what I could tell it was a nasty looking thing) from my scalp. There was lots of blood, one stitch and my head really hurts. The only good thing about the entire experience was that it was paid for by the NHS and therefore free.
