New to Blurty.
This marks my first entry here on Blurty! I've got 2 fellow diarists coming to join me, soon I hope! Over the last 3 years a friend of mine from online, and myself, have kept up with one anothers journals online as well as chat on AIM.
My first diary locale was mydeardiary.com::: they changed the user interface, confused everyone and deleted all of our previous entries so we decided it was time for a facelift of our own.
My second diary was JitJot.com::: they didn't change anything, they even upgraded my account to premium for being such a loyal customer and for referring friends. But I decided that I needed a change. I was there for a little under 1 year.
Several things in my life have changes so I felt it was time to change where I wrote. I've been engaged since February of this year and our relationship has grown so amazingly strong that I feel more in love now than I ever have. I am started college in 4 days, going back for an Associates in Business Administrative Technology. I've already graduated from a previous college with a Diploma in Computer Programming. I already have plans to take over and run my father's Drywall Finishing business so that he can retire.
Other than going back to school, I work full-time at a new Dollar General Market, 2 minutes up the street from me. It's a super awesome Dollar General, it's like a super-Walmart but smaller. We've got regular grocery, frozen grocery, and general merchandise. I have been working there for 2 weeks now and have helped build the shelving units and stock shelves. I've been busy/busy at work and I am absolutely loving the experience. Everyone I work with are great people. Erika, the lead of this store while under construction, is an amazing person, has a great personality and is really fun to work with. She can be hard to work for at times but when you are under a lot of pressure to get a store done in a certain amount of time you've got to put pressure on everyone else to let them know that it has to get done. She'll go back to South Carolina on the day of Grand Opening ... we'll miss her.
In this journal, I will write on a daily basis for the most part. Sometimes I get busy and miss a day .. but always check in from time to time. I must run for now. My oldest niece wants to play on the computer before she has to go home.
