| Some photos as promised of Jo's new environment. Been pretty slow in the life department since settling into my new digs. Wei came down last weekend and we hung for dinner and a lazy Sunday lunch and she seems to know more about Melbourne than I do (which is pretty much where Max Brenner is in relation to RMIT ... however, she found this place: Koko Black which takes the whole chocolate experience up a few notches ...) but also reconnected with a couple of lost James Ruse-ians whom I will be having brunch with tomorrow (why do all my social events involve food?) in St Kilda if the dodgy weather holds. And I do mean dodgy ... very random spurts of sun and rain the last few days ... only had a couple of chances to laze on my new balcony!!! Anyway, here are the photos! |

| The (in)famous cone at Melbourne Central Shopping Centre from the inside. I personally quite like it actually. |
| Cute mural in Melb Central food court. | Mmmm ... my first ever churros on Brunswick Street! And then I ended up having churros a few days later with Wei, Di and Cathi on Chapel ... but you can never have too much (actually, that's not true ... mmm fatty) |

| On my balcony (fifth floor) last night - looking left ... | ... and looking right (onto Flagstaff Gardens) |
| The lounge with Garry (the Scot) living up the geek life ... | ... and Roo at the other end being a camera nerd |
| My room courtesy Ikea (my, haven't I made myself at home already?!) | and the view from my window as I try to study! |
| My giant mug (also courtesy of Ikea) that once contained Earl Grey and an NW mag, just how it should be! | Roo, Jess and Garry with Elizabeth Street behind them (and nasty nasty pineapples yuck) |
| The cafe where I had brunch with my flatties this lazy lazy Saturday morning (I think we left the flat at 12:30pm ... oops) | (Kat, this ones for you! Roo works at Camera House! But not this particular one ...) |
| The Tropicana's Top Secret South American juice ... hmmm ... tasted like ... citrus ... and red grapegruit ... and strawberries ... and and ... I guess it'll remain a secret ... funky beetroot colour though although I couldn't taste any ... | Graffiti opposite the platform at South Yarra train station. Went to the Chapel Street Bazaar today and all I got was a lousy postcard (nah, it was an awesome Astroboy postcard hehe) |
