mocks...meh. [28 Nov 2003|09:44am] [ mood | content ] [ music | stupid ict lesson people talking ] I got my mock exam timetable approximately 54 minutes ago :) mocks shouldn't be too bad, right? plus once Ive taken them, its christmas and then we have very little stress (hopefully) until April next year. I'm a bit disappointed that I don't get to do a German speaking mock, because I've just improved to a reasonable standard. exams are: Wednesday 10th Dec - German Listening Thursday 11th Dec - Textiles Humanities Friday 12th Dec - Maths H 1 Science 1 Monday 15th Dec - English lan 1 Child Development German Reading Tuesday 16th Dec - English lan 2 Maths H 2 Humanities 2 Wednesday 17th Dec - Science 2 voila! ooh I heard a really interesting joke today! Once there were two muffins in an oven. [14 Nov 2003|10:30pm] [ mood | sleepy ] [ music | Placebo NRJ live interview ] ooooh I'm so sleepy, but some horrible woman decided it would be a good idea for Mr to babysit her "little angel", who tells persistent lies and refuses to shut up, and tells his mummy everything, at my house tonight. So it's been "Jessss, can I have a bag of crisps please" and "can I have a drink" and "Oh but I don't want to watch Harry Potter, It's booooring" all evening, great fun.....and of course I will only get paid ?6, because that's "fair money" .... stupid woman..... anyway, I had a good day at school today :) I got at least some work done in every lesson, which is a change, in ICT we'd usually sit and do nothing for an entire double lesson because there is nothing set. Today however, Charlotte and I (along with Amy and Beth) decided to go to a technology room and continue with our various coursework assignments, where I got a fair bit of textiles designing done, as well as revising Science with Beth. Then Humanities :( Emma wasn't there,l but we didn't do much other than discussion work and a key terms sheet, which Amy and I helped each other to fill in. Humanities revision lessons are actually more use than I thought, half of the things we've covered I wouldn't have thought to revise. The next lesson was double science, which I didn't really mind. We did a test in the first half of the lesson, which I found a million times harder than yesterdays test but still managed to get the same score! The second half of the lesson was highly amusing because Beth decided to ask sir about a contradiction in two formulae we'd been given to revise, all to do with electricity and transformers, after several repeats of the question (he didn't hear the whole thing first time as Beth talks quite fast) he still couldn't answer. and he also described physics as containing "a whole lot of shit people don't really understand". After lunch we had English, my first lesson with Mrs Allsop, which was funny, yet annoying...English is pretty much the one subject I like to work in, yet my class seemed to have decided to sabotage the lesson, I only got 3 of the 6 questions finished, and Sheryl who was letting me copy her points if she could copy mine, got moved away from me for giggling... finally we had Maths, which passed fairly uneventfully until the end of the lesson, Kim started singing so Claire moved next to me, bringing with her Kim's bag. Peggy hid Kim's bag while people searched the classroom and Kim got in a major strop and trod on her calculator..... anyway, enough about boring school methinks... grrr its all cold and I don't know how to work the heating, my mum is out at the pub so she can't show me how to work it...I guess I'll have to make do with my hot water bottle hehe post comment

Films [27 Oct 2003|03:52pm] [ mood | quixotic ] [ music | The Starting Line - Best Of Me ] Emma came round today, we watched 'The Addams Family Values' - during which we decided that Morticia walks in a really cool way, which we hope to adopt and that was amusing and we also decided that the music to the credits is really funny - and we watched 'Me, Myself and Irene', well half of MM&I anyway, she had to go home in the middle of it :( My sister's mate Shane is here too, I think we're gona go to the cinema or something, because my mum keeps talking about seeing Pirates or the Carribean or something. So that should be amusing... Unfortunately I'm pissed off at myself because Ive managed to misplace my Black Market Music cd and I don't have a clue where it could be..... anyway, I'll update again tonight I guess post comment

First Entry [26 Oct 2003|06:30pm] [ mood | indifferent ] [ music | Alkaline Trio - Armageddon ] ok, so firstly a general message to anyone reading this:~ don't expect any highly intelligent debates over, well anything, this will generally be a stream of conciousness which will undoubtedly make me come accross as a complete idiot, but hey who cares?! I doubt anyone will read this anyway, becuase I don't know if I'm going to put the url up anywhere....we'll see so yeah, now to the entry! haha October half term and already I'm thinking about christmas! how ridiculous is that?! It's probably because the other day at T's house somebody mentioned Christmas cake, which got my mind ticking, and I make my first every christmas cake yesterday. It is now wrapped up, as advised by Delia Smith, in a double layer of grease proof paper and a double layer of foil above the kitchen cupboards, where it will be fed brandy on a weekly basis! what a life, I wish I was a christmas cake! After completing my christmas cake I decided to stay in the festive mood and make a 'Stollen' I didn't know what the fuck one was but I made it anyway and it turned out quite nice. since then I've done bugger all really, watched half a series of Friends on video and thats about it. the internet is starting to bore me now, which I guess is a good thing as it will free me up to start on my mountain of work! infact...
