A Boy is admitted into the hospital from an almost fatal car accident. When the doctor comes to attend to him, they back away and say they can't because they're related. Now the boy's grandfather's dead, and his father was driving the car. Who is the doctor?

Ah had to admit Jay Griffin tonight...it was one of the scariest things Ah'd eva seen...*sniffles* Ah came in, just to give him some Advil...and he was unconcious..his sheets were soaked, he was shiverin...He seemed fine on the phone...Ah would have called 9-1-1, but it would have taken too long...Ah don't remember how Ah got him to the car, but Ah did...and Ah just remember once he was on a stretcher, Ah was the first doctor to tend to him...it should have been Dr. Jones or someone else, but...Ah couldn't leave him like that...Ah don't know if he's going to die...God Ah hope not...Ah don't know what Ah would do if Ah couldn't touch those curls again or see those shining blue eyes and white pearly teeth surrounded by rosebud lips when he smiles to show everythang off...

What the hell am Ah saying? Ah'm a Doctor for goodness sakes! Ah need to get mah head together...but damn..if Ah lose him...*looks up to the celing* God...Ah know he believes in you..Ah can feel it..please help him, show him that he's an Angel, but he's an Angel here on Earth, he has more good to do. More than Ah could eva hope to do. Please..watch ova him?

Well, life as a doctor is hard. Ah won't say that it ain't. But the emotional stress it puts on you, is so great. Especially when yer in PEDS, like Ah am. Maybe Dr. Jones was right. Maybe ER is the way to go. But, no, Ah can't stand to see children suffer, Ah mean, who can? But, Ah just have this pull that Ah need to protect each and everyone of them.

Well, ah took Jay Griffin out to lunch the otha night. Help him get his mind off of things, give him some time to cope with all the events happenin 'round him. He wants to adopt Taylor...Ah don't know if he can take care of her. He's got SOME money, but not a lot. An' Ah don't know if it's enough to take care of a 4 year old. There are many many many couples who could take Taylor and she would be good. But, he grew up in an orphanage, knows that the chances of her gettin adopted at her age are slim. He says she'll bounce from foster home to foster home, and he don't want that for her.

Ah told him, Ah'd be a refrence...

Lord what am Ah thinkin? He don't believe in you, or well, not yet...but, why am Ah doin so much for him? Why can't Ah be firm and say "no, she needs two parents who are established in their jobs, not some college kid who ain't even out of med school" but Ah can't...Please help me guide him and show him the way to you, and yer love, so he can lead Taylor down a good path. Even as Ah sit here, in a supply closet (it's the only privacy Ah can get sometimes) Ah just can't stop thinkin about those bright blue eyes that are eager to see what's behind ev'ry door and help each person in need. Or those curls of his that just make up a beautiful halo that could rival yer angels own...well, he is an Angel...but he don't see it, instead he sees me as the Angel. Me? An Angel? No..just a loyal child of yers. *sighs* Ah should get outta here, and see what person needs me now...just, watch over him when Ah can't...

Hmm...I figured out how to tame Tay Tay, so all of the nurses, Ah've already explained what you need to do. Ah talked to Dr. Jones today...that was..interesting..but nice. Oh, Nurse Paris...we need to discuss somethings. Why is it when Ah want to update here, there's not much to say and when somethin DOES happen, Ah forget to update?

Oh! Ah know what Ah wanted to say. Mah mother needs to stay outta mah love life. She keeps bringin round these southern debutants for me to meet. Ah don't WANT a southern debutant. Ah don't want a Northern Debutant. But does she care? No. She made mah sister go to college purely for the purpose of findin a husband, which she did, and got a great job at findin a job, and now she has a beautiful little gurl. She's mah neice, Ah got tons of pictures. She loves her uncle Jamie, but NO ONE but her can call me that.

Yeah...that's it...Ah'm goin home, and sleepin, and then another day!

Last Night, what can Ah say 'bout it? Ah talked to Jay Griffin. He was still on "vacation", but checkin in on thangs. Ah think we can get along with out him *deeply chuckles*. He got Tay Tay to behave..Ah didn't know he was an orphan. Guy like that, you'd think have tons of family round him. *shrugs a shoulder* We talked, Ah mean really talked. He thought Ah hated him..okay so Ah did at first, but then Ah got to know him. He's a really nice guy...Needs to learn how to pick up the pace with things, but that'll come in time.

Ah talked to Bianca Ryan *devilish Grin* that woman is SO FRIDGED it ain't even funny. She gave me Will, told me to deal with the concequences. There ain't nothin to DEAL with if she would have TALKED to him. But that's in the past, Ah hope he comes out of surgery bettern how he went in. *Sigh*

Nurse Paris got mad at me, so Ah bought her a stuffed puppy. She forgave me. hehehe

But, Yeah..Ah hope Ah get to know Jay Griffin better...a lot better...Nurse Paris stop laughin! *chases after her*

Ah HATE that Bianca Ryan! Ah Hate her so much! That woman has NO SOUL! She is tryin her damndest to keep Carly and Will apart. Well, she will NOT succeed! Ah don't care WHERE he goes, Carly WILL see him! If that woman would only TALK to the damn boy she'd KNOW what he needs! He needs CARLY! His family doesn't come visit him, neither does Carly's. They NEED each other. *whinny mimicing voice* I go by the book not hope *normal voice* Yeah well, that woman has a one way ticket to hell. Bein a doctor means you GIVE THE PATIENT WHAT THEY NEED! NO Patient should be alone! WHY she makes him suffer by himself, is BEYOND me! *takes a couple deep breaths* Ah need to go to the gym. Work off some steam.

*sighs* what a day. Ah got a new patient. Taylor. She's adorable, but she's SO rambunctious! My LORD that gurl can NOT calm down, it's like there's sugar in'er IV or somethin. It took myself an Nurse Paris to get her to sleep. Had to hold her down while we sedated her.

Dr. Austin, insulted mah heritage. How on EARTH am Ah to reply to that? Ah basically told'im to Fuck off. Ah can't do nothin 'bout it, so he just has to deal with it.

Ah visited Will again. Ah gave him some old books of mine, along with a new copy of "The Places You Will Go". That book is like mah Bible. Except for the real one, of course. He liked it, and'e thanked me. Oh, an we talked about Audioslave Ah think Ah'm makin a break through. *smiles sheepishly*

Then Ah visited Carly. Mah Angel. Ah brought her a bunch of magazines with prom dresses and ideas for prom. Ah know she's gonna be the prettiest gurl there. Even if Ah have to take 'er mahself, Ah would be honored.

Then there's Jay Griffin...Paris knows all about that. So, that's all Ah'm sayin.

*Rolls off the couch* I just want a HALF HOUR of SLEEP! Is that TOO MUCH to ask?!

On a lighter note, I visited with some patients today. Two teenagers, Carly and Will. They both have lekimia...how sad. But they are such great kids I can tell. Carly, I call her "Angel" because that's what she is, and Will, is awsome with books. I think I'm going to give them some gifts tomorrow. Right now, there's an ambulance coming in, so I'll write more later. I can't wait to talk to them again, and I've met some really cool staff people.
