Just wanted to say hello. I don't really write fanfiction anymore, but I did write two. My more popular one was A School Story (which I think was the most cliche' title ever by the way :D). It's just an old A/U ficcy I wrote that sadly I didn't finish. But people liked it and that's always nice, isn't it? It's just about Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku following Kagome through the well and going to school with her. Heya! I might as well start by saying that I'm new to this community but I absolutely love the idea of gathering Inu fics for others to read. ^-^

The time has come for Inuyasha to choose between life and death, Kagome and Kikyo. Rated R for strong violence, adult situations, and demonic language. It's a Kagome/Inuyasha fic with a bit of Sesshomaru/Rin and Sango/Miroku [at least from what I can remember, I haven't read the fic in a while]. This is an awesome read, I absolutely love it!

...but here is the current story I'm working on: The Tale of the Sad Miko. I just fixed Chapter 4, so here's hoping FF.net corrects it before you read. ><; It's the preqel to the first story I wrote, but it's sort of a stand-alone as well. It's a romantic drama because I like writing traditinal-type tragedies for some reason, and I'm trying to incorporate some aspects of Buddhism and Shintoism into it. (Whee, boy, this story is a bit of a thinker, too. Must be why all the young girls on FF.net are shying away from it.)

Take a peek, tell me what you think, give me ideas...whatever. I hope you like it (gee, I'm like the Chinese matriarch who bad-mouths her own cooking)!

Oh...by the way, I just noticed that FF.net seems to be having problems with html fics at the moment, so I apologize for all the question marks in place of quotation marks and apostrophes. Geez. u_u;

This isn't the most... ah... thought-provoking piece of writing in the world, but it sure made me laugh until my sides hurt.

The Wedding of Shippou and Kirara

The title pretty much explains it all. Expect hilarity and general weirdness from all. I'd say it's rated R for language and suggestive themes. There's slight yaoi there, as well. All that aside, it is one of the funniest IY-related 'fics I've read yet.

Well, well... been a while since I posted here, ne? The previous post reminded me of a wonderful story on the Hero in the 21st Century site. I had posted it on my own journal, but not here, I just realized.

Rebound

The Shikon no Tama has been made whole again, and Kagome goes back to her time, leaving Inu-Yasha and Kikyou to keep their promise of living out their human lives together. Now, twenty years later, Kagome is a grown woman, her heart recently broken by the man who said he could never love another woman. After countless, unsuccessful attempts to return to Feudal Japan, now is the time she is finally able to go back to the friends she had left behind in her teenage years. This is of the drama genra, and has adult themes but nothing horribly explicit, so I would say it's relatively an R rating. Excellent writing. I highly recommend it.

Ohayo! New to this community. Just started reading and writing Inu fanfiction. Love anything by Katherine Batey, especially that big project of hers, "The Hero in the 21st Century".

I've read some good ones. I'll try to recommend some I've read that aren't listed here. Wrote two of my own if anyone's interested. I'd like to be a professional writer someday, so I tried to put my soul into these two pieces. Hope they aren't crap. I'll post from Fandomination.net because FF.net's formatting is all screwed up for some reason, and the formatting still sucks at Fandomination.net, but it's a little easier to read. God, I hope the formatting doesn't scare people away. -_-;

First story I wrote, not too long ago. About a girl named Rumiko (hehe) who goes to an old shrine because a friend suggested it would help her with her lovelife. There's a legend surrounding the place, about a beautiful miko and her hanyou lover, but Rumiko doesn't believe in legends...until she meets someone at the shrine that changes her mind.

Working on a sort of prequel for that because I was asked.

I just joined up a short while ago, liking the concept of sharing good fics because I get tired of sifting through the stuff on ff.net, IY anyways since the the number of fics to sift through is growing by leaps and bounds. So I usually tend to stick to writers I know write well and only read their stuff instead of wading through all the other stuff. Sometimes I feel adventursome though and try anways...then get a headache for my efforts. =p

Anyway, I wanted to recommend

Friends and Lovers

Maybe everyone's already read it but it's still a good fic. It's a IY/Kagome/Kouga fic and is nicely done since who she ends up with is still a mystery and the story flows well. It's by Rymsie who is my favorite IY fanfic to date but that's probably because I've got a Sess/Kag bias and she tends to work on those mostly lately.

I finally posted my turn on

shikon. About time, ne? For those of you who may not know, that jounal is for Tainted Hope, an Inu-Yasha role-playing storyline that I participate in with my friends... my role being that of Inu-Yasha. It's a pleasure to be able to play alongside such talented writers, and I feel bad that I haven't been able to update it in about a month... they were waiting on me all that time. But fear not, I hope to keep current on it so it doesn't die. Sadie (she runs the SL, not to mention plays an awesome Miroku) and I have already discussed how it will end, so since we have a definite plot going, we hope to unfold it all the way.
