The darkness started fading without warning and Vante found that he was standing on something. Some sort of floor. Then his vision cleared completely and he realised he was in a toilet cubicle.

The first thing he did was to scan his mind. True enough, he "saw" Yamato, Beowulf and Force Edge ready for action. He blinked and the Light-elemental Devil Arm was armoured over his arms and legs. He blinked again and they were gone.

Stretching, he proceeded to leave the toilet. Apparently he was in some sort of hotel. Yes, that was the word for it. Ignoring the curious looks of the lowly concierge behind their tables, he headed out by the sliding glass double doors.

Then he saw the white-haired, red and black-wearing man.
