It bothers me how I suddenly have the compassion of so many more friends, just because I believe in God now. (fyi, that's all. I dislike religion, but I know there's someone godly out there, watching over us. Religion is full of beliefs, but I think it's better to have ideas. Like in the movie Dogma.) Jesse talks to me now, Ben isn't getting in trouble for going out with me, Katie is closer to me, and Christine doesn't have problems with me. When I did something stupid, and Christine forgave me, she said something along the lines of "I don't approve of that, but since I'm a christian, and christians forgive, I guess I forgive you." If you weren't a christian, would you have forgiven me? I had no idea that all of this would change just because I caved.... Someone please help me figure this out... it's really really bothering me. Ok, wow. Let’s start last Tuesday night. Tuesday, December 9, 2003 The band concert was AWEXXOME. Jazz did well, but I kept on missing notes. Intermediate was WAY better than I expected, and I loved all of the compositions. When Symphonic performed, the entire stage was shaking from people tapping their feet. Overall, it was fun. Afterwards, we went to Chile’s for dinner. Almost the whole posse was there, and then some. Alex, JD, Katie, and Joe came. We were sitting in the waiting area, and I was talking to JD aboot the fire alarm. Kisa- “What happens if you only push in and don’t pull down?” JD- “Yeah, I always wondered that too…” Then I turned around and talked to someone else. Before I knew it, the lights were off, the waitresses were screaming for everyone to turn on their cell phones, and the alarm was beeping. Everyone went outside into the wind and light rain, and JD denied ever doing anything. (coincidental we talked aboot it, though…) Turns out there was a blackout, and you could barely see any lights. We had to drive all the way to Pepito’s to eat, but it was fun. There was a show aboot gay mexicans on the TV… I don’t remember when this was, but I went to the mall a lot last week. Yeah. I don’t remember anything else from last or this week, so I’m gonna skip straight to yesterday. Thursday, December 18, 2003 Ah, the burning wreckage. But first, the assembly. I LOVED the pantomimes. They roched my footwear. We had a Christmas party in History, and I stuffed myself, not to mention chugging three sprites and a root beer. O.o But Ben and Kayla broke up, and during English there was a gigantic mess aboot who was taking who to the dance. Cause Ben asked me at lunch, and Kayla said that they were supposed to go together. We worked it out, and they “went as friends”. The eighth grade dance was at Lucky Snapper again. All of the girls looked beautiful. Someone wore a Cinderella dress, lol. Turns out Garrett is quite the ladies man! And there was a chip bowl on the food table with a diameter of aboot four feet *drool* Yes, but anyway… Ben asked me out. *giggle* Kim and Taylor broke up. Kim’s pissed at just about everyone now. She was crying, and wouldn’t talk to Ben, Taylor, or me. She left before he asked Kayla out. This is most defenitely weird, but I think we’ll all get used to it. Mr. Cole kept on complimenting me all night… I was eating, and he says “Valenti, that spider web tight thing is hottt.” I got fishnets, and they’re awexxome. Mrs. Keppel also complimented me on them. And kept on hitting on everyone… Ben was going to get grounded for going out with me, cause of my atheism, so we were gonna have to keep it a secret. Except for one thing. I’m not an atheist. |
