So, back to school. I've had three different classes already (Spanish twice :-P) and so far everything is going ok. I found out that my sociol problems class is weighted, which I've never had to deal with. He said that none of us would fail (probably), but half would get C's, and only 10 percent would get A's. Makes this a little more difficult than the class I took with him last semester (where he was grading based on whether he liked you or not. I got an A in that one!) Spanish is, well, Spanish, and will be my foe for the next 15 weeks (and two days). I'm thinking about making a countdown, but the idea of over 70 days of spanish left depresses me, and I don't want to see a physical reminder of that. The professor this semester seems a lot nicer (and more scattered and easily flustered) than last semester's, which is a good thing. Plus, Celsey is in class with me, and it's always easier to get through a dreaded class with a great friend. Personality and Individual Theories is going to be fun! The professor is one that the student body always loves, and it is widely recommened as a 'can't miss professor.' She's one who I talked to while visiting the campus for the first time, and I like her style a lot. Plus, the subject is something that I"m really interested in... Chemistry and social psychology is still to come... It's been nice not having much work to do yet, but I'm almost ready for the real homework to come. I hate sitting around with nothing to do, waiting for the flood to start... especially when I have no TV to keep my mind occupied! Anyways, I'm off to lunch, then chem and social psych. Will try to get back into the swing of updating this! |
