Went to The Incredibles out on the Quad last night... almost didn't go, but then found out Dave and Jacob were going, so I tagged along. Jacob is a friend of Courtney's, so through connections a friend of mine, and Dave is Joe's roommate... Anyways, that was probably the most fun I've had since I got here. Just the whole idea of watching movies outside on the grass was probably what did it. I woke up pretty late today (late enough to miss breakfast), so had an early lunch instead. Went to the Uncommons, and while they were making my veggie-wrap, I started talking to the guy who was being trained. I found out he was in my orientation group, and that he's in my 8am math class. It's pretty cool to meet all these new people, and have most of them be connected to you in some way. Speaking of which, I passed a guy in my hallway the other day who looked just like Jason Miles, from my high school class. I pulled out my little bluebook when I got back to my room, and sure enough it said a Jason Miles from Springfield was enrolled. Weird. I've been doing more homework than I ever wanted to do on a Saturday. Hopefully I don't have to do much tomorrow. :) As for now, I think I'm going to go find some air-conditioning. Next year I want an air-conditioned dorm. It's so hot in here, even with my door wide open and two fans pointed straight as me. Hmm. I think this is ridiculous. |
