Rules.
-ICness-
Keeping cannon characters IN-Character is one of the biggest problems of the fandom today. Therefore the rule is simple: If you take on a cannon character and are unable to keep him/her reasonably in character, you will be removed from the game.
While you are allowed to have Gryffindors that are pro-Deatheaters and Slytherins that are pro-Dumbledore there are a few characters who must be associated with certain affiliations.
The Trio may, at no point, be allowed to become Deatheaters. While they MAY be TEMPTED to the 'dark side', in the end they will not be permitted to act on said temptation.
Draco Malfoy is NOT allowed to become 'Redeemed'. He is required to have true genuine Voldemort-sympathies. Neither may Lucius Malfoy be 'redeemed'.
Severus Snape is pro-Dumbledore.
Character ages must correspond with Cannon. I have seen far too many RPs that feature an Oliver Wood who still attends Hogwarts, even though he has left school in the books. I have also seen many RPs in which the children sorted in Book 4 have been put in higher years. This is NOT allowed here.
If you are playing an adult or alumni character, that character will need a job. These too, must be IC for the character. For example, Fred and George Weasley would NOT be professors at Hogwarts. However they might have a joke shop in Hogsmeade ect.. Another big thing I have noticed is Oliver Wood teaching Flying at Hogwarts, this too would not happen. In book four, Oliver Wood told Harry he has signed a contract with the Puddlemere United professional Quidditch team, so please dont ask to have him teach flying at Hogwarts, it wont happen.
IC rules also extend to the spelling of cannon names. I dont want to see any of it misspelled. Typos are okay but if you are repeatedly misspelling a name (or place) I will warn you... if you continue, I will remove you.

Any and all AIM transcripts must be posted behind an lj-cut tag on the IC-board. They also must be edited so that aim names are removed and character names are placed before their comments/actions.
For example:
Incorrect-
Artist23: "Hey!" yelled Harry when his Invisibility cloak was suddenly pulled off of him.
CuteLittleKimmi: Hermione smirked as the soft water material of Harry's cloak slipped from her fingers and to the floor. "Hey, yourself."
Correct-
Harry Potter
Hey!" yelled Harry when his Invisibility cloak was suddenly pulled off of him.
Hermione Granger
Hermione smirked as the soft water material of Harry's cloak slipped from her fingers and to the floor. "Hey, yourself."

The 6th year of Harry Potter’s magical education has come. While he is still grieving the loss of his godfather, the world will not stop for even him as things continue down the dark and twisted paths that had begun years before his birth. Lord Voldemort is back and stronger than ever. When the world was made aware of his presence at the end of last year he saw no need to lie low any long and countless Muggles and Wizards have died from ‘mysterious’ circumstances.
With the dementors having left Azkaban it is only a matter of time before the imprisoned have escaped to once more rejoin their master.
Harry and his friends cannot hope for a normal year… for there will never be such a thing for him… it can only go further downhill…

schools a week away. ALREADY. this summer was boring, but it went by really fast. i am NOT looking forward to going back to school at all. the only good thing about it is that i get a bunch of new clothes. lol. i mean - i guess it will be cool to see my friends every day agian, but i can see them in the summer too. *sigh*.
ive read the all the harry potter books soooo many times ive decided- im taking a break of reading the harry potter books, so im re-reading the lord of the rings. its pretty good - but somewhat confusing. i like it though. its no match for harry potter, but its good. its alot different from harry potter - its its own mythology .. but some of the things are similar. the lotr movies are pretty good too. orlando bloom is HOT. lol. he looks good in Pirates of the Caibbean too (which is an awesome movie for all of you out there reading my boring jounral who havent seen it yet). but hes no match for daniel radcliffe *faints*.
well even though im re-reading lotr .. that dosent mean i wont obsess over harry potter and go to all my sites and read about the 3rd movie filming and rumours for the 6th book and update in all my HPcommunities and look for more HPcommunities and work on mine .. etc. lol.
well this i have nothing else to write really so im going to go. bye

Hello. This is my 1st entry in my journal .. I dont really have much to write .. my life is pretty boring so prolly most of what youll see in here is going to be pretty dull .. but im a pretty cool person! lol.
