DEAD GIRLS CLUB.COM is the headquarters for the major Hollywood feature film set for filming this coming spring. At the website, they are in the process of searching for a young actress and actor ages 15-mid 20's who can play a high school senior. The winner will be flown with a guest to Los Angeles to film their role in the movie.

The secret to this competition is that America will be picking the young actor and actress from entries posted on the website in February. So your chances of getting a featured role in the film will be determined by the number of entries. And of course, there will be national exposure to anyone who is carried into the quarter finals of the competition.
Good luck,
The Phan

Is anybody gonna go see that new movie, Corpse Bride? I think it looks cute. Especially that part in the commercials when her eye pops out XD Normally I'm not fond of cartoons, but I think me and my girlfriend will probably enjoy seeing it. :)

Heyy guys! I'm brand spankin new to the community... so I guess I thought I'd say hi. I love horror movies, I allways have. Ever since I was four or five I'd just sit upstairs and watch Pet Cematary or the Chucky movies... I love being scared. It's like a high to me. I hav OCD, so I have a tendancy to scare myself a LOT - a creak on the staircase, a noise from the attic, and I'm not asleep ever again. Haha. So I thought I'd introduce myself.

My fine weekend is as follows. I saw the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Then I saw the new one (I didn't like it as much). Then, to finish it all off, I saw Night Of The Living Dead (the original) CELULOID ORGASM!

Dear G_d. It was beautiful.
The purist in me wants to say I prefer the original. And yes, parts of the original I missed. (The dinner scene is my favorite, as well as watching that annoying wheelchair guy die)
But this. This...
I take back all my approval for House of 1000 Corpses. While I still like Zombie's directing style (with some exceptions) it seems I had forgotten what good horror movies were.
This had everything. Atmosphere. Characters you cared about. The plot was a little thin, but this is a slasher pic, you dont expect a deep plot, or even want one. Just believable characters and a lot of blood.
Go see it. Don't go in with over hyped expectations cuz of me though. But its definitely worth 7.25

I saw the re-make of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre tonight. Amazing. It was without a doubt the most gritty, cruel, disturbing, gruesome horror film I think I have seen, but it was probably the most brilliant.
I have a new respect for Jessica Biel(especially after watching her interview about the film on AOL). She could be better at screaming tho ;)
The cast was amazing. I was so excited to see David Dorfman!(Aiden from The Ring). I knew the instant he opened his mouth that it was him, he's got that voice. And his eyes. But if you hadn't seen The Ring 50 million times like I have, you wouldn't be able to tell it was him.
I was very glad that they focused more on Leatherface. The group of crazy people was a lot different, and a little confusing... but it went along with the story.
I liked this version a lot better, because it developed the characters more. Made you care about them, and want them to live. Made you feel for them. They didn't do that too well in the original.
It kept very close to the original plot. From the disturbingly similar looking gas station, to the truck picking her up at the end. I was VERY glad that it wasn't one of those re-makes that was ruined by Hollywood.
I felt like there was puke in the back of my throat the entire time. Which is a new feeling for me. Usually I just feel like there's bricks on my chest, and my heart beats a million times per minute. But this almost made me sick. That's what you call good cinema.
Anyway, great. I am so happy it turned out so well. And, if you have a weak stomach, even in the slightest, this is NOT the film for you. You seriously can't handle it. ;)

I am a huge horror-game fanatic! I don't know how to emphasize this any more than screaming at any new release of my favorite games. I own games like: The silenthill series(of coarse), The entire residentevil series, both nightmare creatures, illbleed, carrier, both dino crises, fatal frame, the clocktower series, the legacy of Kain and Soul Reaver series, Run Like Hell, extermination, The thing, various Castlevanias ( I hardly enjoy the belmount legacy and will congradulate anyone who owns that entire series), Alone in the dark: the new nightmare, and sadly enough love the medievil games. I know, it's much like when I played Kingdom Hearts to explore Halloween town and enjoy the presense of Jack Skelington. Maybe I have a disorder. Unfortunity, something has gone wrong ever since I played Silenthill3. It's like I am waiting for all games to become living works of obsene torment. Sh3 has now become the addiction I can't kick. It was everything I ever wanted to see in a videogame. Now I am awaiting, not so patiently I may add, for Fatal Frame 2: The Crimson Butterfly to come. When I played part one, I was impressed with what Tecmo had created. Now after only viewing minimul screen shots, I await becoming cannabalistic and rageful. I need a new game to satisfy my thirst. Beleive it or not, My current games being played by me are House of the Dead 2, SH3 extreme modes, and....do I dare say it.....Nightmare on Elm street and Friday the 13th for NES.
