well, i paid for like.. a year and never actually used this account. so really there isn't any point to paying for more. livejournal for me is better. my friends are there, there is a great variety of communities.... and certainly this time last year tabulas was kind of confusing the only good thing is that it crossposts everywhere.

What you didn't know about the popes of Rome. On the evening of Saturday April 2, 2005, after receiving the Rite of Extreme Unction, Pope John Paul II passed away. At this time his chamberlain would have gone to the papal hospital bed and asked the Bishop of Rome a question, "Are you dead?" There would be no reply from the Pope. The chamberlain would then pick up a silver hammer and strike the Pope on the head and repeat his question, "Are you dead?" Again there would be no reply. The chamberlain would then thrice call out the Pope's baptismal name. He would then declare the Pope to be dead.

This is possibly the greatest font site ever. I've spent the last few minutes looking at every font on that site. They are...nifty and potentially very useful. :D

"And Adam Knew Eve: A Dictionary Of Sex In The Bible" is a very interesting read. Spent a little of yesterday and a little more of today reading it. Must dig out the Song of Songs again - possibly the only part of the bible that's actually positive about sex.
Hot water has nothing to do with bibles and sex though. It has more to do with the boiler not working for 4 days and the people who broke it not knowing what's wrong plus a whole lot of general incompetance on the part of the main company. Grrr stabby stabby. My hair feels... ewwy. Currently Watching: woe Currently Reading: woe Currently Listening: woe

| Pope John Paul II RIP |

It's diffifult really, to think of something to say. I'm a quite devout catholic and in a sense, this is a bit like the death of a family member for me. Not a close family member, as obviously I didn't know him well personally, but a family member that you're fond of, for whatever reason. I don't always agree with the teaching of the church, especially that on certain forms of contraception, but the Pope did a lot of good for those who have suffered - helping to bring about the fall of communism and speaking out against war and conflict. Also, he has inspired a lot of people, young and old, to do a lot of good. At least a million young people gathered together for the last world youth day, and friends of mine that went were incredibly moved by what he had to say to them. It is very sad that he's gone, but he has suffered greatly over the last few years and has spent a long time serving the church. I hope whoever suceeds him can do as good a job.

This idea that I can easily crosspost to all my various journals is a good but slightly kind of wah one. I don't really like the idea of sticking my password and username for a bunch of sites in, but I do like the idea of updating all this journals more often. Hmm.

I've not updated for ages. Oh well.
I went mad with the uploading for my icons site. There's a list of what I uploaded here
and also moved my icons site to http://icons.herdivineshadow.com
