hmm. so the hurricane... yeah, its supposed to hit on thursday at about 2 pm. its gonna suck. i'm gonna be stuck in my house all weekend. i love storms though, and i'm sort of looking forward to the hurricane, in some morbid way... it was really bad here yesterday. everything was flooded. some juniors were stuck in the driveres ed car durring the storm. the car flooded, as they were stuck in 3 feet of water. it got really really bad in some places... people had to be rescused from the rooves of their houses by boats, the water was so high... and that wasn't even the hurricane. i just hope we don't loose power. it would suck being stuck home all weekend with no power.
ooo funny flooding story! the rain was so bad, that a chemical plant was flooded. a bunch of barrels of dangerous chemicals floated away into the brandywine river! LMAO! people are still looking for them!
today was mom's bithday. we spent the larger portion of dinner arguing over my college education. apparently now she doesn't want me to go to the UofD. i don't want to 'settle' for a school, but i don't want to be in debt for the rest of my life once i graduate... and we really can't afford an out of state school... so i don't know what she wants me to do... i want to be in a big city... or just a city... and i want a school with good study abroad programs. that all i'm sure of. i don't know what i want to major in, i don't know what i want to do with my life, i don't really know anything... but i have to register for the sats so i can at least apply to a college... i've got to get my ass in gear and pick a few out, and make an appointment with guidance *shudders* i don't like guidance... it makes me nervous.
