    Book Reading.....
I just finished up book No. 13.
I read Three to Get Deadly by Janet Evanovich.
It's the third installment in the Stephanie Plum bounty hunter series.
These books are fun easy reads.
Stephanie is working for her cousin Vinnie as a bounty hunter. Stephanie is far from perfect and she lives a far from perfect life. It almost gives you a feeling of, you could be her.
Her mom is always worrying about her. Sending tons of leftovers home with her. Her grandma wants to play with her gun and be a part of the action. A former hooker, Lula, is working as a file clerk for Vinnie and has been become Stephanie's sidekick. Morelli, the boy who "played with her in the garage as kids", is now a cop that's back in her life personally and professionally.
In this book she is trying to track down Uncle Mo, the local candy store owner, whom everybody loves. Every body is not happy with Stephanie for "picking on" Uncle Mo. Then they find a lot of dead bodies in the store basement. Things change a little bit, but then every body starts to think Uncle Mo is killing drug dealers and they go back to worshiping him again.
Eventually the truth starts coming out and Uncle Mo ain't so innocent and Stephanie gets her man.
The comedy relationship between Stephanie and Lula is a riot.

For the last couple of days I have been walking Maggie down the block and around to the park.
She has done fairly well walking. Not really heeling, but she hasn't been pulling really hard on the leash, unless I have to pull her in and keep it short.
This morning I must have walked the puppy energy right out of her. She is currently napping at my feet. lol........

    Book Reading.....
I finished up No. 12 yesterday morning. It was a quick little read.
I read Welcome to Dead House by R. L. Stine. It's one of the Goosebumps books.
A family inherits a big old house from an unknown uncle. The daughter is seeing people in the house that aren't there. The dog is not at all happy. The children meet some local kids. One day the dog runs away. The kids go out looking for him and end up in the graveyard. They stumble across several grave stones that mysteriously have the names of all the kids they have been playing with.
In the last 10 pages or so it's revealed that the whole town had mysteriously died and now every year they "invite" a family to come live in this one house, and they are eventually killed because the residents need new blood.
The kids rescue their parents and they get out of the town as fast as they can.
The Goosebump books are anything seriously heavy, but they are enjoyable little reads. :p

    Another happy week. YAY...
And thankfully, because I think I am planning to go crazy this coming weekend, for Easter.
