I've been playing HM 64 again. I got Karen to a pink heart in one night (I love that cheat with the dog XD) but I don't want to marry her. I just want her to stay in the village. I'm actually not sure who I want to marry, since I haven't played the game since early last year--It feels like a totally new game.
I've always liked Elli in that game. I hate BTN Elli, as she is so BORING! Gah.
Another thing about BTN that sucks, is that there isn't as much social activities in that game as there are in 64. For example, helping out the carpenters build the hot spring and bridge! I wish that would've included more stuff like that.
They're both great games, but I have to say that I prefer 64.
Opinions, anyone?

Hello, my name is Allison and I am addicted to Harvest Moon.
Yep, I love that game. Ever since my cousin refused to let me play his super nintendo version back a few years ago. I own Save the Homeland and Back to Nature. I have played the gameboy versions, but I do not own them >.< (I will one day, I SWEAR!!). Well, I just wanted to introduce myself. Having done that, I will leave now.

Hi everyone! I just joined today. I've heard of the rumors about the Harvest Moon game for girls. It's supposed to be on Gamecube or something. I dunno. There's a topic about it over at Ranch Story Forums. Click here if you wanna read it.
Let's see..Harvest Moon games. I've have HM: SNES, GB 1, 2, 3, BTN, STH, and AWL (Japanese version). Yep. I'm an addict. Started since the beginning. I'm hooked. What else can I say..;_;

First of all; hi! n-n; I -heart- harvest moon, hee.
Second of all; I have a quick question. I've heard rumors, that there's going to be a harvest moon where you're allowed to be a female farmer. Has anyone else heard these? If the rumors not true, I really think it should be. I love harvest moon, and I love charming the girls... but I think it'd be a nice change of pace, to be able to charm the men as well. ^^;
Hmm... BTN is my favourite harvest moon game yet. I didn't like STH so much, because the game ends after a year(but there are about 10 different endings) - and you don't marry anybody. However, I did love the graphics on it. :: laughs :: I don't own a gamecube, but my boyfriend does.. so I'll probably end up buying AWL sometime in the near future. n-n; I can't resist! The baby cows just look -too- adorable! And the crops look very awesome.
Okay, going now.

Woo hoo! Another HM game!
Unfortunately... It's on Gamecube; which I don't own... If I were to get one, it would be for this game. Apparently it's going to be the most polished of the series.

...Eh...hullo, people! ^^;;
Ahem, I simply couldn't resist joining this lovely little community...let's see...I've played HM64, BTN, STH, the 3rd one on GBC...and I can't wait for AWL to come out! BTN is my personal favorite...I'm a Harvest Moon freak, obviously...
And that's all I have to say, presently...this was just a general opening statement to make myself remotely visible. Uh...yeah...eheh.

Sweet. I just had to join. I've only played BtN and StH. I've been searching for the snes one, but to no avail... *sigh* oh well.
My favorite is Back to Nature, however. That is the most original, innovative game I've ever played. I love it. Not as much as others, though. It's not my favorite game, but it's one of the top ones.
Playing Save the Homeland was kind of a let-down, though... Harvest Moon is supposed to be a farming sim... Not whatever STN is. It's still a solid game, though.
Anywho, I'm out. Stay cool, you all.

I'm new to this community, and I just want to say that I am a Harvest Moon F-R-E-A-K! I've played HM64 and HM:BTN, and I hope to get HM:AWL and HM:FoMT. =) Those games are gonna be AWESOME! ^_^ Oh yeah, and HM:BTN OWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!! =P

I remember it... It is the the best game. I remember playing it... *wipes away tear*
Not so much with the snes version. I hated it, didn't get past the second day.
I wish there were more games this cute , fun, and hilarius. It is also non violent...

For all you BTN fans out there..Did you find Mary as boring as I did? I got her to a red heart, and then had second thoughts about marrying her. So, I married Popuri instead, lol.
