| 6:52p | A snake in the grass. I found a snake in the yard yesterday. Just a harmless garter snake. Seeing this as an educational opportunity for my cat, I picked it up, and put it in an empty aquarium. I kept it for a few hours, long enough for my cat to watch it, and study it. (she has never seen a snake before, and she was quite fascinated.) Then, I took a drive to a local wooded park, and set it free, in a secluded area, near a fallen tree.
