let's pretend it's yesterday for a minute, eh? since i fell asleep last night and never got to post my wonderful day.
today was a day of many firsts. i smoked my first cigarette, i ate my first chicken flavored piece of gum, and i saw VanGogh's work in person for the first time.
today was also a day of many seconds. i went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the second time, i narrowly avoided being in an accident for the second time, and i ran from security for the second time.
one of these isn't true. out of the firsts and seconds, only five out of six are correct. based on my personality, which do you believe to be false?
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY:
+ "SOCK??"
+ jamming to zither music.
+ "we're going to buy PORN!"
"WE almost got hit by a car!"
"but WE'RE going to get PORN!"
+ walking back and forth from starbucks TWICE, in the RAIN.
+ hanging out behind starbucks where the skeevy people hang. so... that makes us skeevy! yay! i'm skeevy!
+ "...my mouth tastes like an ashtray..."

okay, after the vote was taken, i've ended up with a shortened list of names. mind you, i also posted this on my livejournal, and asked my sister. so here's the whole thing:
1) Clare
2) Madeleine
3) Celia
4) Lourdes

6) Elinor/Eleanor/Eleanora
7) Isabelle/Isabel
8) Lucretia
9) Katharine/Katherine
10) Corinne
11) Alexandra
BUT, now i've come into the idea that i don't really want to name a character after someone i know. it would influence my take on her personality. i believe i would find myself infusing that character with the personality and life experiences of that person. so i'm revising the list again, to:

2) Lourdes
3) Elinor/Eleanor/Eleanora
4) Isabelle/Isabel
5) Lucretia
((carissa knows claire basile, so there's my claire/clare. madeleine and ada desmond are off. natalie ferruzza's middle name is corinne, and when i think of corinne, i think of natalie. alex's in my marine science class, and i've known her from last year as well. through jihee as a matter of fact. ada knows her too, thinks i. katharine is kate. so there are those reasons.))
