Had a very nice weekend. Got off work a half hour early on Friday to make up for working through lunch on Thursday. Some poor guy almost crashed his hand truck after I smiled back at him. Went shopping, ferret shopping, (dropped off Blain's papers) and dinner shopping. Friday night was spent with my mom between her two trips. Rob on the phone for part of it. Blain and Brianna stopped by for a brief visit on their way home from Sandy beach.
Then Saturday take mom to the airport at 5am. Pictures of deer alongside the road were blurry, but they were so pretty...
Picked up Boo mid morning. Visited the boys at the jail for a short time. Then shopping with a little driving. Dropped her and her groceries off at home and went to Blain and Brianna's. Blain's back was killing him so I gave him a backrub. Brianna went to her friend's house and Blain cooked a smoked salmon alfredo dinner with garlic bread!! Yum, yum (thanks for the salmon, Boo). Then we went out and conquered the Viking pool tables (lol, right!). On the way out we had to laugh with Jess about the karoke torture treatment.
Today the Waffle house was closed until noon, so I took Brianna shopping for a waffle iron. That was a failed mission so she bought what she wanted to make breakfast for her father and we went back so she could cook. I did the dishes for her so she had everything she needed. We watched Earnhardt, Jr. win the LifeLock 400 and then we all packed up and went to Blain's mom's to play MahJong. Then we went to watch Kung Fu Panda (lol - very fun movie!) and then back to his mom's to play a full set of Swap with the family. That was pretty fun, too. :)
Now it's laundry time. Hugs to all my beloveds. Happy father's day to my father friends
