I better catch you up before I write about today.
On Monday, the 16th, Scott went into Pelican with Van. We went into the Cove. We sold to Paul, who helped pitch off.
We had 127 fish, a fifteen [a] day average.
Dad painted the hull another coat of white paint on the 17th. We had barbaqued steaks for dinner.
We left for Deer Harbor on the 18th. Roger Gross, another friend of ours, took his boat, the Unimak, into Pelican. Tom Kelly, who bought the Takan last summer came up from Port Townsend, Washington, with Roger. He came into the Cove onthe 189th. we stayed at Deer Harbor for a few hours and caught one king.
The Chantecleer, Buddy and Doug's boat, went into Pelican with us.
Roses' twins, Rody and Jessie, came down for two and a half hours.
We left Pelican the next day with Scott. We charged up to Lituya Bay. Dad and Scott took the Danube up and dumpted some shrimp pots. We had a shrimp salad last night.
Today, my twelfe birthday, we left the Bay and are fishing on the Double 40's on the Fairweather Grounds.
