9:57pm: This morning I was the first one up. The skunk, Lonnery wasn't in the barn when I fed the cats. Then I helped Grandpa put latches on the gates. Then I hammmered and nailed a board in place. Then I helped Grandma can peaches. First get a jar and some peaches. peel the peaches after cutting them in half. Put water with sugar, called syrup in the jar. Pack peaches in jar. Put hot canning lids on the jar. Put a canning ring on and screw it on tight. Then put them in a canning pot. Put in water until the lids are covered. Then boil the jars for 30 min large jars and less for little ones.
