(And lo, there was much rejoicing, and the people did feast upon the popcorn and the Cokes and the sour Skittles and the lemon drops and the stuff that was wrapped in aluminum foil in the back of the fridge.)
Anyway, I'm back from the beach-- a bit sunburned, although thankfully I've made it to the "peeling" stage through a couple of days of the "Touch the top of my foot and DIE!" stage. (Yes, I burnt the tops of my feet. More on that later.)
I should be doing the following in the days to come:
^ fixing the art section
^ writing a journal entry about the trip
^ writing the religion essay thingamabobber for my site like I've been meaning to for, oh, four layouts or so
I might be doing the following:
^ updating the art section (depends on scanner availability)
^ writing the rest of the family journal entries (especially after a family trip which has given me much material to use for them); Tophie's is up next
Things which are completely unrelated but which I had to add:
^ I actually went the whole week without desperately longing for Net access. Go me!
^ Sadly, this may have been because I was distracted by a balcony with a view of the pool, which contained many lovely ladies in swimsuits. Mmm.
^ I've actually got two one-page comic-type thingies done (although they do not involve stupid immortals-- I'm sorry, Jay, still working on that) . One is done completely in blue Sharpie marker and blue highlighter. I think it's the coolest thing ever.
