mood: good music: FF9 Soundtrack

I downloaded Gackt's newest single "Last Song" today, as well as the b-side song for that single, "Solitary"...so fucking beautiful, I can't describe. I downloaded "Last Song" first, and fell in love. I was thinking that "Solitary" would be mediocre, if not crappy. I was wrong, they're both amazing songs. I can't wait for Gakkun's full album this December. Not like I'll be able to buy it right away -__-;; This guy is so amazing... How can someone be SO creative? (Almost) Every song he puts out is amazing. The entire Mars album... every song I fell in love with. It makes no difference that I don't speak Japanese, it's like someone finding Italian or French music beautiful, a song can bring you to tears though you don't understand the lyrics. And once you read Gackt's lyrics, the songs become even more powerful. He's such a great artist, performer, everything. Not even touching the subject of how incredibly GORGEOUS he is! (Don't get me started, or I'll slip into total fangirl-y mode ^_^) No body is perfect...but he's pretty damn close! XD

I also recently found out he's doing voice acting for the anime "Fist of the North Star". He's got his movie, MoonChild...and...his radio program...and...TV with Domoto Kyodai...seriously, he does everything. I'm a fan, but really, he should cut back on how much he's doing; take some time for himself; get married, have some kids. How old is he anyways? If he really is in his mid to late 30's, as rumored, he SHOULD start thinking about having a family and what not. Is he ever gonna marry? Well, I mean, for keeps this time ^_^;; For some reason, I was just thinking I read somewhere he didn't want kids? I'm not sure. He should...pass on some of those creative genes (not to mention his physical traits ^___^).

Sorry 'bout the rant. Jeez, Thanksgiving is in 9 days! My mom and sister both are working that day, at totally opposite times, so we won't really be having a formal dinner. My aunt will, but I'm not really planning on going, unless they personally ask me to come. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter to me. I've gotten like that as the years go on. Holidays don't mean as much anymore. They're just like any other day. Why should you HAVE to spend time with your family, and "bond" or whatever? You can do that any old day, and in fact, you SHOULD. You shouldn't need a few "special" days a year to spend time with your family. So, for me, every year is less exciting. Not saying I don't like the holidays, I do, they're just not as...well, I can't describe the feeling. I guess you'd have to feel the same as me to understand. I dunno, do you guys feel that way? Probably not...so I must sound loony, I'm sure.

Random Thanksgiving Event (this actually happened!):

[My mother, Aunt Deb, Megan, and I are eating dinner. I dunno why it was at our house, cause this was recent, but whatever. We were all laughing and being weird.]

Me: (laughing) Wow, it's like we're all on a triptophan high!

Megan: Where's Van High?

Yeah, my sister for ya...

Um...I'm out for now. I guess I'll post some pics tomorrow...maybe. I'm not good at keeping promises, so I'm not making any! ^_^

[Today]

Hmm...yeah, I'm using my Blurty again, cause it's a lot easier. I'll keep the site for pictures and...I dunno. I'd like to one day do an actual fansite about something, but I don't have enough original material and/or motivation to do it. So...bleh...

OMG! Yesterday, my sister ROLEPLAYED!!! I cannot believe it! She wanted to try out the aol chats, and I was in the other room as she was talking about it. Then she was like, "Hey Mol, what does 'RP' mean?" And I was like: o_O "Uhh...Roleplay?" She had entered a RP chatroom but actually started talking to the people. They were like "Who are you RPing as?" And she was saying things like "So what do you do when you role play?" and "But how do you do it?" to them. I was like "Kill me now >_<" Then I ended up explaining to her how it worked. Well, as good as you can in like 5 minutes. She wanted to 'try it', so they asked her to pick a Japanese name, so, she looked to me. I was like, "Just use 'Aiko'". They were all loving it and saying "Wow, that's cool". Then came the actual roleplay...let's just say it was obvious to me she was not so creative. I basically had to tell her what to do every other action. She kept saying "What should I do?!" I was like, "The whole point is to make your own character..."

One of the guys IMd her and was like "So, are you new to the internet, or is this just your first time in a chat room?" XD Yeah, that's how obvious it was. So she told him she had never roleplayed, and he was like, "Well you're doing pretty good for your first time" Hrmmm...Thanks to ME! Haha... Jeebus, it was wild. If you know my sister, you know she's not the rp 'type'. She's very 'preppy' and...she's just always making fun of the things I like. Before last night, I would have never imagined she would WANT to rp... The guy she was chatting with played as a so-called "original" vampire character Alucard...yeah...REAL original *cough*
