Being male I want some inspiration on how I can make this greeaaat fashion work for me - most piccies are of girls (very nice but not very good for ideas on my own look). Give me some ideas please. 7:14 pm [usagiko]	HI! [wavewave] Hey there. I'm Molly and I finally found the FRUiTS book. Man, am I addicted! ^_^ I am currently also addicted to Yazawa Ai manga as well, which is just as good as FRUiTS. I've been into costume clothing (wings,neko ears tiaras, tutus), Japanese culture and thrift and vintage clothing since I was 10 years old. Living is Los Angeles is a very lucky thing indeed because of our plethora of thrift and vintage stores, especially the ones in Little Tokyo. I frequently shuttle between EGL and street fashion--my early adolescent years were primarily my EGL years, and only since then have I been going between the two. Today I went to the Jewish Council Women's Thrift store and found a really cool zebra camisole which I will shoot a picture of later this week. 2:14 pm [teenagerobot]	'ello hi, i'm hannah, one of the only known proponents of japanese street fashion i know of in my city, kansas city. in addition to this, i am a proud former punk rocker. i own the fruits book, and i like it alot, especially the mod/punk looks and mish-mash clothing... love, love love the mishmash. well, i'm obsessed with pouffy skirts and messed up hair and messed up t-shirts... i'm currently working on a wrap-around t-shirt made out of 3 shirts. it's kind of working. kind of. additionally, a black petticoat with a green and white woven cotton top... to anyone who admires DIY petticoats as much as I do, i recommend the longer lasting tulle made with thicker fibers... i'm not sure made of what though. but most of it is either really elasticized or has dots woven into it. i don't know why i included that, but its been a breakthrough in my petticoat-making! hehe. well, speaking of DIY, i'm a long time DIYer of clothing and accessories, and i'll be happy to help anyone in their fruit-y DIY-centered journeys... xx/oo hannah Current Music: vice squad - rocknroll massacre (Comment on this)
