4:48 am - Bruises of the ISLANDS...

It is a well-known fact that I bruise ever-so easily (like a beauteous and tender peach?). But I've noticed lately that I've my bruise patterns have begun to look very much like island chains. I'll look down at my legs and all of the sudden I'll be struck with recognition, "Hey - LOOK - it's the Seychelles!" Or, "If THOSE are the Aleutian Islands than I'm not the Queen of Romania." (Okay, technically, I am "Queen of the Genetic Universe" - long story for another time, but I like "Queen of Romania" because it's in a play I love - can't remember which one at the moment...). Or, the worst, "GOD HELP ME - I've got ALL the islands of New Zealand on my right upper thigh!!!" Ah, the life I lead.

I knew it in my heart, and it has been confirmed by experts. Take a look at what Ms. Tink had to say about it:
Geekness runs strong in the Lee blood, so it is inevitable that you are, in fact, a geek. The mere fact that you have a "Stunt Woman" in your head is a huge sign. And the fact that I completely understand (I have a Movie Director in my head), should 1) Make you feel better, and 2) Further prove the aforementioned point that Geekness runs in our blood. See this link for more information about the "Stunt Woman Factor." And bless you, Mon Cousine Doux, for trying to make me feel like I have company in my geek-a-tude. Nevertheless, a movie director trumps a stunt woman any day. (But I do see camera angles in my head, so perhaps - just PERHAPS - I am aspiring to a higher level of Geekness.)
