    Smoke reported in residence on Buck Run Trail ...
    5:51 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the 1000 block of Buck Run Trail for a report of smoke in the upstairs of the residence there. Nelson County EMS is responding as well.

    6:30 p.m. -- Firefighters find light haze in the upstairs of the residence, but are unable to find a source. The resident has unplugged appliances in the area and will have the circuits checked.

    10:05 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to 2749 Pottershop Road for a residential fire alarm called in by the alarm company.

    10:08 p.m. -- The alarm company advised the homeowner reports trouble with the alarm system. Firefighters are responding to confirm the trouble.

    1:57 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the area of Cardinal Hill subdivision and Sutherland Road to investigate a report of smoke in the area. Dispatcher reports there are no controlled burns reported in that area.

    2:15 p.m. -- Firefighters find a controlled burn in progress behind a home in the Cardinal Hill subdivision.

    Injury accident at KY 245, US31 intersection ....
    10:04 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department, Nelson County EMS and Bardstown police are responding to a 2-car injury accident at the intersection of US31E and KY 245. One of the vehicles may be on fire.

    10:14 p.m. -- EMS personnel on scene request an Advanced Life Support EMS squad to respond immediately to the accident scene. There are three people injured.

    10:17 p.m. -- Firefighters find no fire, but are staying on scene to assist EMS.

    10:22 p.m. -- Firefighters report one patient out of the vehicle, one more left to remove.

    10:41 p.m. -- Nelson County EMS transports 3 people, two women and one man to the hospital.

    10:54 p.m. -- Firefighters clear the scene.

    5:12 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the rear of the Old Kentucky Home Shopping Center for a vehicle on fire.

    5:14 p.m. -- Dispatcher reports there is no vehicle on fire, but there may be a brush pile burning behind Conway-Heaton Ford Chrysler dealership.

    5:23 p.m. -- A trailer with debris on it is what is actually on fire. Firefighters are accessing it from West Forrest Avenue.

    10:37 a.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the 100 block of Fern Lea Circle for a report of sparks coming from an electrical outlet. The resident says power is off now in part of her home and the wall has been blackened.

    12:36 a.m. -- Nelson County EMS is responding to the area near the Boston Community Center for a structure fire with possible entrapment. Structure is about 50 yards from US 62 intersection.

    11:42 a.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to 115 South First Street for a fire in the backyard reported by a neighbor.

    11:44 a.m. -- Firefighter on scene reports the fire appears to be a possible structure fire. Fire department is paged again. City police are also requested for traffic control.

    11:46 a.m. -- Incident commander reports the burning material appears to be something that was burning inside the home, and was thrown into backyard.

    11:50 a.m. -- Dispatcher reports that the resident at the home has arrived at Flaget hospital for treatment of burns.

    3:53 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the Nelson County Jail, 810 W. Stephen Foster Ave. in Bardstown for an active fire alarm. Dispatchers called the jail but the phone was not answered.

    3:55 p.m. -- The Jail called and said the alarm was triggered by a power surge. The incident commander and one fire truck will respond to the jail.

    9:37 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the area of 1024 Woodside Drive for a report of a vehicle on fire next to a residence.

    9:41 p.m. -- A person at the residence on Woodside (in Copperfields) called the dispatchers and said it was a controlled burn. The first caller said the residents were trying to put the fire out. The incident commander is going to respond to verify.

    9:51 p.m. -- The Incident commander confirms the fire was a controlled burn. Responding fire units are canceled.

    7:30 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to a home in the 500 block of Manton Road for an odor investigation. The homeowner reported there has been a smell of something hot in a child's bedroom for several days.
