    6:25 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the 6000 block of Boston Road for an injury accident with possible entrapment. Nelson County EMS and the sheriff's office are also responding.

    6:30 p.m. -- Officer on scene reports victim is out of the vehicle and is not trapped. EMS continuing to scene.

    6:13 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department has been called to investigate an odor of natural gas reported coming from a home next door to 119 Early Times Blvd.

    6:26 p.m. -- Firefighters determine there is an exterior gas leak somewhere on the property. LG&E is responding to the scene.

    11:40 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to an apartment complex on Camptown Road for a reported dumpster fire. According to the first unit on the scene, the fire was mostly burned out.

    8:29 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to a report of a tractor on fire in the field behind Flaget Memorial Hospital.

    Severe thunderstorm warning issued until 11:30 a.m.
    10:48 a.m. -- The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Nelson County until 11:30 a.m. Winds associated with this storm have downed trees and power lines in Southern Indiana and Louisville metro area. The storm is also dumping rainfall as much as 2 inches per hour, and hail as large as 2 inches in diameter.

    12:31 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to Cox's Creek Elementary School, 5635 Louisville Road, for an active fire alarm.

    12:34 p.m. -- Dispatcher reports the alarm company says this is a false alarm. Incident commander is going to continue to the school to determine the problem.

    12:45 p.m -- Firefighters determine the alarm was caused by an activated pull station in the school gymnasium. The alarm was reset.

    8:35 a.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to Subway, 458 W. Stephen Foster Ave., for an odor investigation. The caller reported a strong smell of propane in the area.

    8:45 a.m. -- Fire chief is on scene, requests dispatcher to have an representative from LG&E respond to the area.

    9 a.m. -- Firefighters determine the odor was caused by a water heater malfunction at Kenny's Cleaner's. The problem has been repaired. Firefighters helped to clear the building of remaining gas to clear the odor.

    9:58 a.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to 107 W. Stephen Foster Ave. for an active fire alarm called in by the alarm company.

    10:05 a.m. -- Firefighter on scene reports the alarm was triggered by dust in a detector on the tavern's second floor. All other units are canceled.

    11:25 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the area of 1695 Boston Road, across the road from TNT Motorsports, for a fire in the utility room. Firefighters requested an EMS squad attend to a male subject who was having trouble breathing.

    8:29 a.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to 200 Kentucky Home Square for an active fire alarm in the building that formerly housed the Hallmark store. The alarm was called in by the alarm company.

    8:50 a.m. -- Firefighters determine the alarm was triggered by a malfunction in the sprinkler system. There was no fire.

    3:40 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to KY 245 in front of Dairy Queen for a two-vehicle injury accident. One of the vehicles is reportedly on its side. EMS and city police are also enroute.

    9:38 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to 2215 Hibbs Lane for a report of a barn on fire.

    9:41 p.m. -- The Northeast Nelson Fire Department is also responding to 2215 Hibbs Lane for the reported barn fire.

    9:43 p.m. -- Caller reports the barn is fully engulfed in flames. A responding Bardstown firefighter reports seeing the flames from his location north of Bardstown.

    10 p.m. -- Firefighters report the barn has collapsed. Fire is still visible several miles away. Bardstown Fire clears scene since the fire is in the Northeast Nelson Fire's district.
