    Rolling Fork to set up landing zone for medical helicopter in Howardstown ...
    4:39 pm - The Rolling Fork Fire Department is responding to the Howardstown area to set up a landing zone for a medical helicopter. A woman riding a motorcycle crashed into a ravine on KY 84 two miles from the Marion County line. Initial reports said the woman suffered a broken arm and leg. She is being rescued at this time by the New Hope Fire Department.

    4:54 pm - The woman is beling flown from the scene by a medical helicopter.

    Active alarm at St. Joseph School ...
    12:47 p.m. - The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to St. Joseph School, 320 W. Stephen Foster, for an active fire alarm. The American Red Cross is having a blood drive in the building and the alarm began sounding. The building was evacuated.

    12:50 p.m. - Red Cross employee reports the alarm quit sounding, and they are going back into the building. Based on this information, the fire department Incident commander asks responding units to respond without lights and sirens.

    12:56 p.m. -- Incident commander reports the alarm has sounded and silenced again, so firefighters will walk through the building to determine the source of the alarm.

    8:06 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department and Nelson County EMS are responding to 1130 Old Nazareth Road for a structure fire. Caller said the fire is on the front porch and a gas can is nearby.

    8:09 p.m. -- Firefighters receive additional calls that the fire has spread into the roof area.

    8:14 p.m. -- Incident commander on scene reports roof area fully involved in flames.

    8:19 p.m. -- Two sheriff's deputies requested to respond to the fire for traffic control.

    9:44 a.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to Bloomfield Road in front of American Tire for a car on fire as the result of an accident.

    Smoke reported in residence on Buck Run Trail ...
    5:51 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the 1000 block of Buck Run Trail for a report of smoke in the upstairs of the residence there. Nelson County EMS is responding as well.

    6:30 p.m. -- Firefighters find light haze in the upstairs of the residence, but are unable to find a source. The resident has unplugged appliances in the area and will have the circuits checked.

    10:05 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to 2749 Pottershop Road for a residential fire alarm called in by the alarm company.

    10:08 p.m. -- The alarm company advised the homeowner reports trouble with the alarm system. Firefighters are responding to confirm the trouble.

    Smoke reported in Cardinal Hill area off US31E South ...
    1:57 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the area of Cardinal Hill subdivision and Sutherland Road to investigate a report of smoke in the area. Dispatcher reports there are no controlled burns reported in that area.

    2:15 p.m. -- Firefighters find a controlled burn in progress behind a home in the Cardinal Hill subdivision.

    Injury accident at KY 245, US31 intersection ....
    10:04 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department, Nelson County EMS and Bardstown police are responding to a 2-car injury accident at the intersection of US31E and KY 245. One of the vehicles may be on fire.

    10:14 p.m. -- EMS personnel on scene request an Advanced Life Support EMS squad to respond immediately to the accident scene. There are three people injured.

    10:17 p.m. -- Firefighters find no fire, but are staying on scene to assist EMS.

    10:22 p.m. -- Firefighters report one patient out of the vehicle, one more left to remove.

    10:41 p.m. -- Nelson County EMS transports 3 people, two women and one man to the hospital.

    10:54 p.m. -- Firefighters clear the scene.

    5:12 p.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the rear of the Old Kentucky Home Shopping Center for a vehicle on fire.

    5:14 p.m. -- Dispatcher reports there is no vehicle on fire, but there may be a brush pile burning behind Conway-Heaton Ford Chrysler dealership.

    5:23 p.m. -- A trailer with debris on it is what is actually on fire. Firefighters are accessing it from West Forrest Avenue.

    10:37 a.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the 100 block of Fern Lea Circle for a report of sparks coming from an electrical outlet. The resident says power is off now in part of her home and the wall has been blackened.

    9:36 p.m. -- Firefighters determine the alarm was a pull station activated and are working to reset the alarm system.

    9:15 a.m. -- The Boston Fire Department is responding to 90 Lebanon Junction Road, the site of an early morning house fire this date, after receiving a report that the fire has rekindled.

    12:34 a.m. -- The Boston Fire Department is responding to the area of the Boston Community Center for a reported structure fire.

    12:36 a.m. -- Nelson County EMS is responding to the area near the Boston Community Center for a structure fire with possible entrapment. Structure is about 50 yards from US 62 intersection.

    12:39 a.m. -- Boston firefighter reports the structure is fully involved and is directly behind the fire house. Dispatchers have been told there may be people still inside the building.

    4:11 p.m. -- The Northeast Nelson Fire Department is responding to the area of the 32 or 33 mile-marker westbound on the Blue Grass Parkway for a reported vehicle on fire.

    11:42 a.m. -- The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to 115 South First Street for a fire in the backyard reported by a neighbor.

    11:44 a.m. -- Firefighter on scene reports the fire appears to be a possible structure fire. Fire department is paged again. City police are also requested for traffic control.

    11:46 a.m. -- Incident commander reports the burning material appears to be something that was burning inside the home, and was thrown into backyard.
