"I think as far as lovers go, well I do not have to look anymore" he says. I remember when I met her, she was so beautiful almost child like. She whispered her words and I could barely even hear her as she spoke. There was this mystery to her and I even told her I saw God inside of her. She hinted the faintest smile as she walked beside me. You see this happened in fall, I just don't think she cares to remember but I do. I remember all her words, good and bad from that mouth of hers. I used to look up to her even if she was little in height, she just did not know what to do with me. I treated her like a princess, first boy to ever do so. I remember she even wrote on my wall that I was the pirate and she was the princess. How could I forget? I was the one saving her from all her demons... And even on our Halloween, I clasped her hand between mine telling her to grow up, telling her to let go of who she was and just smile for what was to come. I don't think she could comprehend what I was saying but she kept holding on no matter what that night. That night and many more which turned out so beautiful. She always walked herself with those shoes she always looked down to for guidance and to my back porch...
I miss that back porch. I just could not figure myself out at the moment. However, I loved knocking on your window while my insides would dance around and waiting for him on that back porch, hoping in anticipation for a smile from him. I remember Norma Jean like it was yesterday, he smiled and sung like a child. That was the happiest I had ever seen anyone in my entire life. I think that was a God given moment. He stood behind her, holding on. He always held on no matter what. I just could never relax, it was just always me. He took care of me while inside I was dying as a reckless girl that could never make up her mind. I stood outside at 11:11 and I waited for him. I think they all have that down. All the philosophers in the world had it made and when I found you, I did not have to look anymore. So ask yourself now, what would you do with me?
