Have all of you "Hardcore" Duel Jewel fans disappeared on me? I'm only wondering. Things ended up taking a lot longer for me to accomplish due to some problems IRL (Death of a friend) and I wasn't able to mess around with this community for awhile. If any fans are left here please leave a message. Is this community really worth running if nobody is posting and or reading it at all? I'm not too sure.
Give me some feed back.

Duel Jewel is Returning to the U.S.! A small Con out here in Texas has them and so far things are looking good. They said that by december the information should be on their website.
Oni-con will take place on Oct 22-24, 2004 at the North Houston Sheraton. Their website is www.oni-con.com

While this post is not directly related to Duel Jewel, I would like to make it anyway.
If you are interested in the promotion of J-rock and J-music in general, please visit this site and find out more about them.
The site is: www.pacific-media-expo.com
This is an up and coming convention devoted to all forms of asian media. J-horror, J-music, Hong Kong Cinema, Anime, Manga, and Culture in general. I'm mentioning them for one major reason.
They are bringing over a band or two. The bands they bring over will be well known from what they are saying. The concert will be held the night before the convention and will cost in the range of 25 - 45 dollars. That does not include admission into the con. The concert will seat roughly 8000 and be held in a real venue.
The convention will make no money off of this concert, in fact it will put them about about 50k. They are doing the concert in hopes to promote J-music in America.
So, I just thought I'd mention them.
Also, as soon as I find some nice pics, I'll start working on a killer layout.

I need some nice pictures to work with for a layout. I can't find many from fansites, and even if I do find some nice ones I still have to ask for permission. Does anyone here have any nice Duel Jewel Photos that they would be willing to let me use for the community. If so, post here about them and I'll get my email adress to you!

Actually, I have come to the conclusion it is time to give this community over to someone who will keep it up. I love Duel Jewel, and don't plan on leaving the community, but I just don't use my own blurty enough to remember about this place.

Just thought I'd leave a little message saying hello to the fellow Duel Jewel fans. I saw these guys at A-kon and I knew of them before hand. I really enjoyed meeting them, they were very polite and sweet! I missed their concerts this year due to being on con security but I caught them last year and I fell in love.
Nice to see a community start up for such a talented and undercredited band.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find a Winamp skin of Duel Jewel for version 2.77? I guess I would prefer it to be of Yuya, or Natsuki but any or all of them on one skin would be fine. If you can help me that would be awsome if not thanks anyway ^_^

Hiya... I'm a newly created fangirl. I just saw Duel Jewel at a-kon a few days ago for the first time. They made a fangirl out of me in no time. I saw 2 of their concerts, and stood in line for autographs twice. Everyone except Shun were VERY nice, but I figure that it's just his bad boy persona kicking in. I think I used like two rolls of film on them... as did my two sisters. I'll let you know when we get a fan site up and running. (Yeah... we're making a fan site) They are just so pretty.. ::swoon:: and their music.. ::swoon::
The only thing that throws me off is that Hayato (I think that's his name) is like the God of crowd flirts. Every single person who saw that concert swore he was flirting with them. This from a rock band? It's so CUTE. Anywho.. I'm off to go fangirl some more. Ja!

I just got back from A-kon, and man... ::dies:: I am still in such an aawww, and have been listening to them litterly non-stop since I came back ^__^; hehehe. I took lots of pictures, and as soon as I get them developed and scanned I will be sure to post them up! *Looks for the pokemon stuff and the hematita ring on Yuya (pokemon gifts from my sister, ring from me...the hopeless Yuya fangirl heh hehe ^_^;;)*

I just joined, so here is my obligatory intro. ^^ My name is Reiko.. I've been a fan of Duel Jewel since 2001, and I am one of the three owners of DuelJewel.com. First saw the boys in Tokyo, later at AKON and then at Katsucon. LOVE them to DEATH.
Hope to see this community grow as large as the ones on DeadJournal and LiveJournal! Props to whomever started it. ^^
