Updates!
1) I bought my wedding dress! (Well, I bought half of it, so far, anyway.) We found a sale at a wedding shop near my mum's house. I am SO THRILLED with it, partly beacause it's lovely, and partly because it means I can now start planning, well, everything else. I am trying to find a picture!
2) My mum's neighbour gave me a spray tan yesterday. The result is.... not amazing. A good deal of it did come off in the shower (and in the bath this morning) but my face is still darker than my legs. On the plus side, at least I appear marginally less anaemic now. Score!
3) I'm back in Durham and the weather has finally decided to catchup with the "heatwave" thing, except I have just been hearing thunder. Piss off, North East weather.
4) We have new neighbours! To one side, anyway. They are three students, Chinese kids who are studying at Aidan's. They were delighted by my bunnies, who were hopping around in the garden (as is their wont). I said hello and we chatted a little bit, and they said they're going home for the summer, but will be back at the end of September/beginning of October. Awww. |
