Cazzle's Blurty

Of weddings and things.
So the wedding went really well! We found the hotel fine, we found the venue fine, the weather was fab, and the food was AMAZING. The only mishap was very minor; I'd pinned the skirt in 4 places so it would actually sit on my waist, and during the dancing, one of the safety pins decided to unwork itself and stab me in the back. OW. That aside, the whole weekend was really lovely! (And I totally stole some good ideas.)

I have ended up drinking for the last 4 nights, so I am sure my liver will kill me if I think about opening any more wine tonight. On Sunday we drank the fabulous and amazing quince schnapps we brought back from Germany, (CHRISTINE PLZ BRING MOAR) and last night I was out with ex-pub folk. I was amused to discover that everyone, bar about 3 people, have moved from Lloyds and defected to the actual Wetherspoons on the other side of town, which is about a fifth the size. HAHAHAH.

Also! I was walking to the pub last night and I passed some chav girls, who were maybe about 15. I was wearing my fabulous coat and a black corduroy-effect fedora, black slim leg jeans, and my fabby new heels. As I passed them, the furthest away one drawled "Eeeh, she looks French." It took a few seconds to realise they were talking about me, but when it sank in I whipped around so fast I almost fell off my heels. WHAT?! Seriously... what the crapsticks?! I don't even know how to take that!! Crazy little things.

I'm working tomorrow and Thursday, then we are closed Friday till Monday. WHOO! Since I don't work Tuesdays, and I work alternate Wednesdays, I will be on holiday for FIVE DAYS :-D (It's very good because I have tons to do, including working on a few exhibits for an art show. It's called "The Happiest Show on Earth" so it's totally up my street, obv.)

In other news, my work friend sent me this, which amused me reatly. Oh, Unshelved,never stop being so right. ;)
